You know what, Pogo.com has Monopoly. We could easily organize a game. Yeah, but I hate how you have to be a club member to play by custom rules.

Look, Monopoly is all about being the slum lord. I call Baltic Avenue! I love being a Slumlord, just like Joe Pesci in The Super. There is no better pleasure in the world then being in the lead in Monopoly but still being an asshole and demanding rent on the cheapest property in the game. ;D My friends and I hold a Monopoly night a couple times a month. I've been playing the game since I was a little kid and it's timeless.

It's either spend the whole night playing a game of Monopoly, or spend the next three nights playing a game of Risk. Noooo ... not Risk ... that game never ends and you just have to leave the board out for ever until the little men have so much dust on them it looks like the world has been conquered by little grey aliens from space. ------------------ Monopoly is good fun though, and I've finished a fair few games.

Has anyone in the Western Hemisphere ever actually finished a game of Monopoly? Every single time I've ever played, we've stopped 'cause we were just bored and had other stuff to do. Same here. By the end Ialways ended up selling all my properties to my brother, slipping money back into he bank and making donations to free parking. Damn game. the thing takes to long to play.

I likes a good game of Monopoly, it's wicked. I've never really won in the three complete games that started, but there's always someday. And nothing beats the Wheel Barrel, people.

Really? Usually when I played Risk we could get 2 or 3 games completed per session.

"This is hopeless. We've been playing all night and all I've got to show for it is: Five dollars, St. James Place and this stupid picture of Uncle Wiggly!" [/frasier crane]

I call the Iron.
I have finished many games of Monopoly, both straight up (you can only own properties that you landed on first) and cut-throat (players negotiate to trade properties).
Risk is a little tougher, but I have played that to a conclusion a lot of times also.
The game that I have only seen finished one time is.....Diplomacy.

I've played through many many games of Monopoly when I was a kid, and I usually won.
Recently we used to have virtual-LAN games with some friends, and we always played til the end.
On the other hand, I've never finished a game of Risk!

I bought the Nintendo Collector's Edition for my birthday a few weeks ago. It's still in the plastic.
It's a Collector's Edition. I'm neurotic like that.

I just played a few games against bots to get the feel for it. It's not a bad game, but with bots, it moves awfully quick.
And how exactly did they decide the value of the world properties? Why are Montreal and Riga the most valuable, while New York City is a yellow property?
