What's the point of an energy drink if you're not going to go out and exert energy?

I'm so sick of this energy drink craze...I hope it will stop soon. Whatever happened to getting up, having a coffee, and going about your day? I mean, seriously do we really need to be awake all the time? Having a problem the next day after being drunk all night? Stop drinking!! Need to stay up all night playing video games? Go outside. I guess I'm getting old or something... I'll spend 8 bucks on a can of coffee that will last weeks, then rather spend 4 bucks on a little can of Red Bull or however much that crap will cost. Get some rest people!!! Hate to break it to ya, but quite a bit of coffee has more caffeine than many energy drinks. It's virtually the same thing. But yeah, a lot of them are overly expensive. I think this is a fun little novelty, but I'll stick with Monster, as I don't feel like blowing cash on something I might not even like.

What's the point of an energy drink if you're not going to go out and exert energy? Level grinding, I guess.

But the main question is: why do a gamer, who's probably sitting on a chair 18 hours a day, need an energy drink?? Yay for stereotypes.

Not the first video game aimed energy drink to come down the pike.
I was at the store awhile back and seen these little energy drink deals that had video game themes.
A 1Up drink, something with Super Mario Bros on it, and a T-Virus Antidote (Resident Evil). Bought the Resident Evil one and it wasn't too bad.

My favorite is still Vamp, just because they finally tapped into that relatively untouched "energy drinks for vampires" market.

I don't drink energy drinks. I tried Red Bull once a few years ago, didn't like it and never had an energy drink ever since. If it helps, I like energy drinks, and I think Red Bull is possibly the worst I've had. It's liquid Sweet Tarts. Monster is a lot better, especially the ones with juice.
