Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Santino interfered in Batista's match, trying to hit Batista but Batista avoids and he hits JBL, disqualifying Batista.

Just a thought about the ladder match:
I've been thinking about what Chris Jericho's best ever match has been thus far, and came to the conclusion it's probably another ladder match he had with Chris Benoit for the IC title at the 2001 Royal Rumble. Thus I'm really hoping they somehow manage to top that (without doing anything stupidly dangerous) so that I can honestly say his best ever match is against a massively less tainted wrestling legend.

Anyone else think it's cool you can play all three title matches for No Mercy on No Mercy? They even have the ladder match.

I can't wait for No Mercy.
Jeff, HBK and Candice all going for titles. It's almost as if I wrote the script!

Ironic that this is the PPV that I'm most excited about this year and UK doesn't get it on Sky Sports (I'll still be ordering it).

Actually the person who has been on the live blog before the PPV since their first guest at Night of Champions has always lost their match in some way: John Cena (NOC), Natalya (GAB), Edge (Summerslam), and CM Punk at Unforgiven have been the ones so far. So lets hope that's a good omen this time. I'm not a big Candice hater, and I'm willing to defend her first title reign, but she really doesn't deserve to win the title off Beth based on her performances since her return. I'm hoping this is just a match to officially blow off the feud they had before her injury, but I'm not hugely optimistic since Beth went over on the go home Raw.

Better do my Predictions:
HHH vs Jeff Hardy - HHH retains. Probably be a competitive match though with Jeff getting a lot of near falls to set up future matches.
HBK v Jericho - Umm Jericho to retain. Shawn will come close but then Lance Cade will probably push the ladder over.
Batista vs JBL - Batista to set up a run with Jericho for the title.
Matt Hardy vs Mark Henry - Matt will retain. Can't see him losing the belt this early in his reign.
Big Show vs Taker - No winner it will end in a unsatisfying no contest.
Kane vs Rey Rey - Rey. No way in hell he will unmask........ again.
Beth Phoenix And The Real Girl - Beth will retain.

A number of fun facts:
- Chris Jericho has a winning streak at No Mercy. He's 3-0 so far.
- Triple H has competed 7 times at No Mercy PPVs. 6 of those 7 matches were for either the WWE or World title. He lost 2 of the title matches.
- This is Shawn Michaels' and Mark Henry's No Mercy debut.
- This year will be Jeff Hardy's first non-tag team bout at the PPV.
- All of Batista's 3 previous matches were for the World Heavyweight title.
- The Undertaker may be indestructible at WrestleMania, but he's far from that here. Only 1 win out of 7.
- The only previous experience Candice and Beth have of this event was last year when they faced one another for the Women's title. The only difference was that Candice was the one going in as champion on that occasion.
- Rey Mysterio has the best streak of appearances at the PPV. He hasn't missed a single edition since his WWE debut. In saying that, in his 6 matches he's won a grand total of 1 match.
- Kane has a pitiful record. He's only ever won one match - that was against Mideon in 1999. He, along with Chris Jericho also has the longest gap since their last appearance (2002).

The build-up to Hardy/HHH makes my head hurt. I know they wanted to push Kozlov, but why didn't they make this a triple threat to start with, or why didn't they make Kozlov the number one contender. Or why not have Hunter feud with MVP while Kozlov feuds with Jeff. Or here's a thought, why not hold off on Kozlov for a month and just let HHH/Hardy have a decent build.
At least the ladder match will be good.

how long does undertaker intend for michelle to keep the divas belt? - i notice she isnt defending the belt at this PPV,
surprised shawn michaels is going for a title he has previously said he didnt want the responsibility...unless this is his last title run
i think someone will interfer in the beth/candice match there is NO WAY candice can beat beth clean

At least the ladder match will be good. I like it. It is a slightly less predictable way to build to a title match. I suppose because Hardy and Triple-H don't dislike each other they had to put some heat into the feud so they used a wrestler, in Kozlov, who can play the unknown quantity card very well. Also, we don't know where this is all leading. We may get a Triple-Threat at the next PPV, or Kozlov vs Whoever the champ is.

I think I'm the only person in the world who would have preferred Shawn-Jericho be a regular match.
WWE Heavyweight Championship Match Triple H(C) vs. Jeff Hardy Winner:HHH
World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match Chris Jericho(C) vs. Shawn Michaels Winner:Lance Cade
No. 1 Contender's Match Batista vs. John Bradshaw Layfield Winner:JBL
ECW Championship Match Matt Hardy(C) vs. Mark Henry Winner:Mark "Ratings" Henry
WWE Women's Championship Match Beth Phoenix(C) vs. Candice Michelle Winner:Beth Phoenix
The Undertaker vs. The Big Show Winner:DA UNDATAKAH
Mask Match Kane vs. Rey Mysterio Winner:Rey. He then goes on to remove Kane's face.
