The Phoenix.
Oddly, my memory up til I found it on YT tonight, had Chariots of Fire as the theme song. Listening to it, you can kinda see why.
Werewolf:
Not the original intro, but a teaser from its later run on Chiller. It was one of Fox's first original series:
Hard Time on Planet Earth.
Hell with Karate Kid, THIS is Martin Kove's best work:

I watched every one of those shows. I believe that Richard Lynch not only starred in The Phoenix, but was a special guest on an episode of Werewolf.
And as crappy as some of those old series were, they were better than some of the crap on network television nowadays.

I love the porno music intro for the 70s Spiderman series.

The late 80s show based on long-time comic book character Jon Sable. Only lasted 7 eps.

Seasons 8 through 10 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
(there's some live action parts included and at :20 mark, to me sounds like Springsteen)
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures
House of Buggin'
(what a cruddy intro that is)

The vaguely pornographic intro to kids show Bodger and Badger.
Not quite as obscure and not and intro but any excuse to post the best theme song of all time, from Maid Marion and her merry men.

The best thing ever. Bigfoot & Wildboy I vaguely remember this one ... I think in one episode they battled Vampires. Now I don't know why a feral teen and a sasquatch would battle vampires ...

Tatooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly HillsI loved that show. Even though during that timeframe I loathed the Power Rangers. It was just so f'n out there compared to the Power Rangers.

Oh, and not strictly live-action, but it did have some...
The Skatebirds. I remember my Uncle stopping down and watching it. He said they cut some stuff off and after wiking it, I see they cut off the live action stuff.
Including... Mystery Island.
DAMN YOU DOCTOR STRANGE!

Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot
My latest hulu interest. Sadly, only ten episodes are up but man is this just an F'ED UP in a good way show. The "monster of the week" formula is in full effect (ala Power Rangers, etc.) with equal parts old school movie serial, RIDICULOUS renamings... and PRE-PUBESCENT PISTOL WIELDING KIDDIES!
