This thread makes me feel old. Especially when some of you "complain" about being old or feel old and you're not even 25 (a quarter of a century) old yet.

I'm a college senior and the freshmen make me feel old. It really just started this year.
-Having a PC when everyone else has Mac notebooks makes me feel old. -I remember when Spongebob debuted. -I grew up in the Nickelodeon golden age and when MTV was still good. The 16-18 age group grew up during the MTV really sucks age. And the kids now are growing up in the MTV really freaking sucks age. -My body aches a lot more. -I'm starting to really feel dirty about looking at girls who aren't 18, even though they dress and act like they are.
I'm only 21, but being mostly around 17-18-year-olds makes m feel like I grew up in a totally different generation.

That is when I started having god daughters and god sons, not to mention niece and nephews from cousins' side. I also feel old when I turn a year older on my birthday each year.

I was in a car dealership once, and they were playing music over the speakers from when I was in college, and I got this urge to just hang out there. Then I realized...IT'S A CAR DEALERSHIP. I'm the responsible adult demographic that they're trying to cater to.

The fact that I can actually remember the last time Guns N' Roses released an entire album of new material.

I remember before there was internet. Having some people at work or school not know what Oregon Trail is. Talking up a girl only to realize she was born in the 90's. Remembering when my dad bought our first computer with a CD-Rom, and not being able to play some of the games I wanted because the speed wasn't good enough. Thinking that Pokemon is way older than I remembered.

I can remember reading previews about Age of Empires 1 and demanding that my parents buy me it.

Getting my first mobile phone when I was 16. Seriously, I've seen preschoolers talking to those things. My friend bought a Playstation for "retro gaming" I know how to use CP/M MS-DOS I think the new "Biker Mice from Mars" sucks compared to the original. My first computer had less memory storage than a regular DVD. All my childhood sports heroes have retired.
Guess my age?

When I was working as a camp counselor and one of the staff members my age was playing Sonic 1 on an emulator on her laptop. Whilst we were gushing about how awesome Sonic and the Megadrive was the seven year old kids watching saying how old the game looked and how awful the graphics were. When we told them that was the pinnacle of technology when we were their age they proceeded to look at us weirdly and told us that we were old. So yeah, that hurt.

I graduated high school in 2001, and looking back now, already about half the teachers there from when I went to high school are gone or retired. -working at a retail place that employs minors, and seeing that 15/16 year olds were born in 1992-93 -when I first started collecting baseball cards in the early 90's, realizing that about 95% of the players have long since retired. and speaking of which, one of my favorite baseball memories ever was Jim Abbott's no-hitter in 1993, and today Abbott is kind of a forgotten player -also, the Summer of 1998 (Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa breaking Roger Maris' single season HR record) was 10 years ago -kinda off-topic, but whoever said the golden age of Nickelodeon= Ren and Stimpy RULED!!! I know how that feels. I graduated in 02. I look back on that and say wow that was over 5 years ago. I haven't seen teachers since I left. I'm betting a lot of them are still there. I remember the Summer of 98. Now these days Sosa and McGwire are not the legends they where thought to be. Who would have guess back then that Mark wouldn't be a Hall of Famer and Sosa would left the Cubs a couple years later and his career with it. The man was never the same after leaving the Cubs. How about as a wrestling fan in 98. Would be believe 3 years later that WCW would been gone. Which three years from now would be Ten years since WCW went. That freaky also. What makes me feel old is remembering when MTV was about music and not a bunch of shows that had nothing to do with Music.
