I don't know, I honestly don't know.
Milliar basically raped the source material and made the Spirit into something he wasn't, but damnit the movie looks good.
If there aren't any Will Eisner mentions or accolades given though I will be pissed.

I want to bang Sarah Paulson. I want to bang Eva Mendes. I want to bang Scarlett Johansson. This movie could be about dogs getting boners and I would check it out for those three.

Because of the color composition, and the fact that I highly enjoyed Sin City, and this movie evokes the same feeling.
Ah, who am I kidding. I will be watching this for the same reason why I watched Ghost World, The Island, and The Other Boylen Girl: Scarlett. Johansson.

It looks like Sin City 2. Which, I can't remember if I liked Sin City, since I was drunk when I saw it. I'll probably see this. Ain't like I'll have somethin' better to do. *shrug*

All i know is that I got a WTF picture from one of the released screens from it. It's pretty much a "wait till DVD" movie, cause I really don't have much interest in it.

Samuel Jackson is going to ruin the movie for me.
*sigh*
I keep trying to forget he is in it.

I'll be there opening weekend, but I don't have high expectations. Miller has a good mind when it comes to comics, I'm hoping all that he learned from Robert Rodriguez on Sin City translates well in The Spirit.

Looks ok, for what it appears to be, which is a sequel to Sin City from the way he's made it look.
Which unfortunately has shit-all to do with how Eisner did the Spirit, but eh. Could be a decent flick I guess. I may check it out at some point.

I think HAD a good mind for comics is more accurate, as his old stuff is legendary. But pretty much anything he's written in at least the last five-ten years has ranged from stupid- to out and out insane.

The important question is: Will Ebony White make an appearance?

The important question is: Will Ebony White make an appearance? Good grief, can ya imagine the hubbub? Eh, stick Jar Jar Binks in there; he's got the mannerisms down anyway.
