I really want to cut fast foods out of my diet, but it's so hard. I work open to close shifts all by myself (no other employees) and the only things around me to ever get something to eat are Burger King or Andy's Cheesesteaks and Cheesburgers.

Well, Burger King does offer salads. Then again, I never order them as salads don't fill me up.

Eh, I've ordered salads from this BK before but they always give me salads with wilted and old ingrediants. I don't like that. Plus they are very limited in their dressing choice and dressings can make a salad as bad or worse for you than a burger.

Pancakes and a big ol' cup o' Coke doesn't seem like a good mixture at all.

I got three simple, hotcakes and a large Coke this morning, didn't even use the butter or syrup... And I've been in and out of the bathroom nonstop, puking and feeling generally like crap... I think I may never have the stomach to eat fast food again... So, in a way, THANKS McDonalds! That's why I stopped eating it. For some reason, I used to eat it all of the time but within the last year or so, ANYTHING I get from them makes my stomach drop like stock prices (...too soon?). I hear that the meat and other products they use are so chocked full of chemicals to keep the food fresher longer, those with weak or mild stomachs can't cope. I used to have a cast iron stomach but after a 10 friggin' McNuggets, I feel like I should make peace with my maker, know what I mean? Even the friggin' fries, with I love, had em the other night? Felt like Ronald McDonald kicked me in the abdomen and "ba-da-ba-ba-ba" loved it.

Fast food is few and far between in my diet. I had BK a month ago, and it SUCKED. And about three months before that was when I last ate at Mickey D's. That wasn't and bad, but eating 20 Chicken Nuggets, a large fry, and a large Coke does not do you any nutritional or disgestional favors.

It's one thing to eat fast food everyday, but it's another to eat it once or twice a week.
If people were so concerned about eating healthy, everyone would be vegans.

The McGriddles have never made me sick but the cheeseburgers give me the McBloat every time. Every damn time.

I've been working the last month to cut fast food out of my diet more, though I always have a weakness for either White Castle or Taco Bell.
But when I'm at work, its tough to find a decent place sometimes, so I try to make smarter choices when I'm stuck. I've basically been either getting egg white sandwiches or grilled chicken sandwiches when I have to go out to get lunch, and I try to pick up a fruit cup to go along with it. I'm also trying to cut back on caffeine, so I'm either getting caffeine free soda, or just water (I started drinking Diet soda long ago).
It's definitely helped make me feel a bit better. There'll always be some times when I'm craving a burger or something, but it's starting to get fewer and further between. I'm actually feeling less compulsion these days to get stuff that I know isn't good for me, as if my body is starting to refuse it a little bit.

Seriously guys, it's McDonalds. What are you expecting? World class fine dining that even Chef Gordon Ramsey would come in and tell you how great everything is?
