... to ask for my 91 minutes back from this summer, for the time I spent watching The Happening - I don't want the money, that means nothing, but I could have spent that time hanging out in the sun by the sea with my mum, and calling my girlfriend of the time (now fiancée).
Any specific time you want me to ask people to return to you?

All Shyamamamamalaalmalmalmalmadingdong Movies except The Sixth Sense need time returned to anyone who saw them.
However, this year, I'd like the time back I spent watching TNA. Any and all of it. I haven't watched it recently, and the MEM/Frontline thing MIGHT be worthwhile, but the previous 6 months made me cringe far too much to have me dare to watch again.
Oh, and Starship Troopers 2 - get my time back for that. Starship Troopers 3 I'm ok with, it wasn't that bad, really, but 2 can go take a flying leap. (And I watched 2 like, 4 years ago when it originally came out, I KNEW it was bad, and watched it again... is that their fault or mine?)
Um... oh, oh, all the time I spent playing Peggle, Peggle Nights, World of Goo, Fantastic Contraption, Puzzle Quest, etc - I don't want it "back" per se, but it definitely took a lot of free time away from me :X

I thought you were a girl, and your sig was of you meeting the Chocolate Rain man, until I just read this post! ahh fun times M. Night Shamalambanana really needs to think about what he's putting out. A boxset has just come out with Sixth Sense, Unbreakable & Signs on it, all three films are really well put together and damnright stellar performance from most involved, but everything since then has been from bad to worse. Lady in the Water I've yet to see but hear it wasn't great, The Village actually wasn't great at all, and now The Happening has been panned by EVERYONE who has seen it. His next film is apparently The Last Airbender, which could help retain some magic or just help him lose it altogether. It's a shame, because Sixth Sense is a true classic. Unbreakable & Signs aren't masterpieces but above average... The rest are shabby & somewhat dire. He can keep my time, he'd probably only give me it back for the last two minutes to be of someone else life.

Also, I'm not freakin' Tay Zonday, I'm Mr. Bean! Finally, I would like two minutes of someone elses' life, as long as it wasn't too horrible.

I predicted the twist in Sixth Sense, I didn't bother with the next few (though I laughed heartily at Village's twist) and I predicted the twist in Happening while I was joking with Alan Ruck at a convention in NJ a few months back. So tell him I await the next psychic challenge.

To be fair, there's not REALLY a twist in The Happening, it's just expected to have one cos Sha-na-na made it.

I knew I'd nailed it as soon as I saw his eyes bulge and he awkwardly laughed. The Twist was that the commercials told you it was a good movie, but when you watch it.... you quickly realize it blows undead virgin goats. So it was the same twist as his last few movies??

I love that crazy trooper guy they meet out on the road... that guy should be randomly dropped into all movies. In fact, the 1 minute he was prominent for Shangri-La can keep, round it down to an even 90 mins.

Mr. bean is a hero of mine, sir, so well done on the likeness! Signs is probably third of the three movies yeah, but I'm a big Phoenix Brothers fan so that's why I like it so. Gonna have to watch the three of them again soon actually because it's been a while since I've seen them. I can discount The Village as a Joaquin Phoenix film though lol

The Phoenix Bros. sounds like a kickass 80s martial arts game.

I completely forgot he was in that. I had just seen the trailer a few days earlier, and was glad to see him in the movie. Only thing about the movie so far that's impressed me, really.

Not that it relates much to this discussion... But the title of this thread just made me wanna say... Shama-Lama-Ding-Dong!!!WHAT A TWIST!! Never saw it coming, did ya? I will say one thing about Shyamalan, though. Yes, most of his movies turned out pretty crappy. And yes, I'd still like to get back the 1 1/12 hours of my life spent watching the Village. But dammit, at least the man TRIES to come up with original ideas. Sure, most of them suck, and he relies on the old twist ending way too much. But at least he doesn't just xerox a successful film from 10 years ago like 75% of directors out there. I'm not saying the guy's a good director. I'm only saying he gets a few points from me for at least putting forth a little effort.
