To think, the Giants could have put the Cowboys and their fans out of their misery six days ago. And still, the Cowboys are not mathematically eliminated from playoff competition. Yankee Stadium farewell this is not. You're right. The Yankees won. ;D

For as much as I hate Ed Reed, Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens as a whole, that was awesome.

Didn't the Colts lose their final game at their stadium last year? NFL teams aren't having much luck in closing stadiums, whilst both the New York Yankees and Arsenal had parties after closing their stadiums.

It was actually against the Chargers. I forgot that they played at the RCA Dome for that playoff game but the Titans game was the last Regular Season game at the RCA I didn't think to count the Playoff games

The Cowboys are still arguably the best team in the league The Titans, Steelers,Colts,Ravens and Giants all have something to say about that

The Cowboys haven't faced the Titans or Colts, and they are 1-1 against the giants so those two teams this year are equal.

NFC Playoff Picture Update....
With Dallas' loss last night, they no long have control of their destiny.
TB: SD, OAK ATL: @min, STL PHI: @was, DAL CHI: GB, @hou DAL: @phi
If Dallas beats Philly.....
- Chicago is eliminated - Atlanta would have to win out. If they lose, they have a worse conference record than Dallas and an equal record. Dallas goes in before them. - Tampa Bay would have to win out. If they lose, they are behind Dallas based on losing head-to-head. - Philly, obviously, is eliminated.
If Dallas loses to Philly....
- Chicago will move ahead of Dallas if they win their next two and this scenario plays out. If the Bears beat GB and lose to Houston, the teams would be tied for all intents and purposes and it'd have to come down to a tie-break based on strength of schedule. - Atlanta would need to win one to guarantee a spot. If they lose two, they'll be outside based on the conference records again. - Tampa Bay has the same story as Atlanta, but would be behind Dallas based on their loss to them earlier in the season. - Philly would be ahead of Dallas, even if they lose this week. 'Tis better to tie than lose, I guess.
Vegas currently has the Cowboys at 70% chance to not make the playoffs.
Simply put:
-If Dallas beats Philly, Chicago and Philly are done and the heat is on Atlanta and Tampa Bay to win out. -If Dallas loses to Philly, they're in big trouble, as Philly will be ahead of them no matter what and Atlanta and Tampa Bay basically have a bye in Week 17 with the teams they're playing.
