Cannot contain excitement! The songs by other bands, like Bob Seger or Skynyrd, are those going to be to the sound of metallica or the original artist? Most likely the original artist. Although I would love to play Tallica's Turn the Page.

Track list looks pretty awesome. Give me "Fade to Black", "Creeping Death" and Machine Head's "Halo" and I'll be stoked. I will break down in tears if "Halo" makes it. Joyous tears.

any machine head song would be sweet, but halo would definitely be the icing on the cake.

And Malmsteen can play ANY hard-rock song twice as fast as the original, while adding some scales in between for good measure... Does it mean Malmsteen is "better" than, say, Blackmore or Page? Does it mean he could "fit" in any band just because he's fast? Trujillo may as well be God's gift to bass guitar, but I still maintain his looks and his on-stage demeanour do not fit what Metallica used to be. Just like Fenriz playing for Evanescence... This is exactly my problem with him. He doesn't fit the Metallica dynamic at all 80's Metallica, and even Early 90's Metallica for that matter, will never come back. Ever. Just move on, the rest of us have already.
