It'd be funny if the kids all turned out to be jerks, then see how the family is treated in the community

I don't wish any child to grow up anything other than a well adjusted happy adult.

With all those kids, one is bound to be gay though.

With all those kids, one is bound to be gay though. Which would make me feel sorry for the child. I mean, I'm a "person of faith" but if my children turned out gay I'd try to make it as easy as possible for them..but something tells me it would be very hard if one of these children were to turn out that way. Maybe it's not fair to pre judge how they would react but I'd still be concerned for the child.

These are the same people that wouldn't let their over eighteen year old son even kiss his fiance before they got married(and even got a younger sibling to go out with them to make sure nothing ~impure~ happened). The chances of the parents being supportive of anything of that sort are slim to none. And that's very, very sad.

If you fast forward about 30 years, it will take a Sporting Arena to hold the Family Reunion.
Another good thing is that if one of those kids get's picked on, he's got a TON of backup and support.

Yeah, having children I couldn't fathom why anyone would want to make their lives more difficult based on whom they have sexual relations with, but too many do exactly that.

I feel like a Frosted Wheat commercial.
The logical side of me says "If you can support having that many kids, more power to ya!"
But the instinctual side of me says "STOP f***ING ALREADY! SHEESH! THE RHYTHM METHOD IMPLIES USING SOME RHYTHM!"

by the odds, at least one of those kids has gotta go on to do something cool, so it's alright with me, even though there is something weirdly unsettling about that picture of them all together.
although that may be the word "VAGINA" in large letters underneath.

I just want to see the last kid they have not have a J name. Like, all those J named kids, and then their youngest kid, Steve.

My problem would be: are the kids getting enough attention?
I've willing to be the older kids have spent most of their childhood looking after the younger kids which doesn't seem fair.
There was a documentary on about a British family who had thirteen and one of the older girls basically said she didn't want kids when she was older, because she felt like she'd raised children already.

This. I just don't think it's fair to the older children in these huge families that are expected to help raise their siblings. Helping a little is ok, but the help should be somewhat minimal. I mean, it wasn't the kid's decision to bring more kids into the family.
