Anderson and Bay may be slightly better than Boll but that doesn't mean they aren't f***ing horrible directors.

You didn't like the never ending Matrix cam and flashback to the beginning of the flashback? Also this list is sorely missing Ed Wood and... dare I say it? Yes, David Lynch! Mullholland Drive was not good! David Lynch is my favorite director! Worse than Uwe Boll?Really?REALLY? You hurt my feelings, you're mean. I just found this on another site, it explains my point in a much more epic way.

That was awesome.Yeah, David Lynch isn't for everybody.I love him, but I'm into weird movies and surreal stuff, so I'm the kinda audience he's looking for. Although I will admit Dune sucked.

Dune is the only movie of his I vaguely liked. I believe this makes us enemies. It is on.

Who the f*** is this guy to cast any judgment? All these guys are ok, I say that loosely, even boll...
Even the best have made terrible movies, spielberg: Lost world, AI, Crystal Skulls. The Coens: Lady Killers, Intolerable Cruelty. Robet Zemeckis: Contact What lies beneath. Quentin Tarantino: Death Proof. Peter Jackson: King Kong...
Fact is there isn't anyone person better then the other as long as they stick to the basic rules of film making, even if they dont it can be construde as artistic and edgy...
Opinion is opinion- I am sure some of you disagree with the list above...
Its just my opinion man

Actually "Nine Currently Active Film Makers We Kinda Don't Like".
I mean, really, Neil Labute? No credit for "In the Company of Men", "Your Friends and Neighbors" or "Nurse Betty"? One bad movie and you're worse than Dr. Uwe? Yeah right.
No hate for Ulli Lommel? Tom Laughlin? Hal Needham? John Derek (the worst filmmaker ever, bar none)?

Fragasso and Thomas are the only people on that list that even live in the same street of suck as Boll.

i'm not familar with all those directors mentioned but i think its safe to say that even their worst film is better than Uwe Bolls best film

Slade, LaBute, and Wan I absolutely disagree with. I think they're very good and talented. Anderson and Bay, I agree with. But ever Anderson had a good movie with Event Horizon (which was a fluke.)
The only true and right answer to this list is Ulli Lommel. If it weren't for the fact that he gets his movies made cheap, he'd get no work. Somehow the man has found the razor's edge balance between pretentious and utterly stupid.
Also, Nick Palumbo, but that's more because he's more of a grandstanding lying douchehammer than a godawful director. But no, he's a godawful director.

I'm sorry, I lost him after he said Event Horizon was terrible. You and me both, that movie was great. It could have been even better with like another half hour or so.

At least Uwe Boll makes crappy low-budget movies. Bay spends $150-$200 million on his garbage.

Mr. Boll makes the CineFiles conversation (concerning what "Pisses Us Off About Hollywood") at about the 22:00 mark:

I too enjoy both the direction and content of David Lynch's films. Having said that, these directors are on par with Boll's horribleness. Not worse, on par. And Bay is better than anybody else on this list. He's not making the next Godfather, sure, but Transformers was damn entertaining and awe-inspiring on the big screen.

Lommel made Zombie Nation. With a premise this bad ass:
He can't be all that bad ;D

I'm sorry, for as bad as Paul W.S. Anderson is, he is still better than Boll. I'd rather be forced to watch AvP, Resident Evil and Event Horizon over Blood Rayne, Blood Rayne 2, Postal, A Knight's Tale, Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead anyday.
There is so many things wrong with Blood Rayne 2 (I'm using this one because it's the one I remember the most thanks to seeing it the most recently) it's ridiculous. I mean, it's obviously bad, but it's one of those movies where every little thing in it is bad and if you understand a lot about film making it makes you cringe even worse.

There's no way Anderson and Bay are worse than Boll. I like Resident Evil and I love Transformers. For each of them, that's already one more good movie to their credit than Boll.
Also, THEY never challenged people who criticize them to a boxing match. That's also BS like that make Boll the worst of them all. He can't take criticism, and when you're in the entertainment business, you'll get a LOT of criticism.

Oh and as for the Troll 2 guy, at least he made a movie that was so god awful it's hilarious.
Take this fine acting:
Such fear, and mental anguish delivered so woodenly and emotionless. It's hilarious. Boll can't even do that.

M. Night Shamalamadingding is worse than Michael Bay, IMO. Bay's crappiness is obvious, M. Night hides behind the aura of his bogus "genius" label he got for "Sixth Sense".
