Never danger, but I had a woman with some kids ask why I was rooting for heels like Randy Orton and other heels, so I just gave the kayfabe answer that "I like the way they take of business!" That seemed like a good answer, because it made me seem like a jerk like them without actually being a bother to the kids, who would turn around and make fun of us when the heels lost

So basically you shouted and created a ruckus during a show you didn't even want to be at, ruining the time of two people who did want to be there. Awesome.

No sympathy here, man. (If this is even true!) I probably would have done the same thing the father did! And people wonder why I get insulted by the term "smark"!

I got hit in the head with a battery at a Raw once for yelling gay slurs at Edge and claiming he was wearing a thong made of twizzlers. Those Edge heads are serious business. I realize that it wasnt very PC of me to yell out gay slurs, but to be fair, this was back when he was a face, so...

If this really happened, you're a serious asshole going to the wrestling event just to ruin it for people who enjoy it. I would have done the same thing as the father if I heard you flapping like a moron when I'm trying to enjoy the show.
You sounded like a pretty decent guy going by your previous posts. I really hope this is a joke.

I have to say, I don't think you're giving us the whole story. I don't think you were being threatened just for cheering for heels. That happens at all events.
Even from this amount of story it seems you targeted the father and his son to annoy from the begining.

i hate it when people call the wrestlers by their real names, unless you know them personally.
and it wasn't really grave danger as much as it was a difference in opinions that ended a maybe relationship.
his fault.

I never had that problem. Then again John Cena was getting the mixed reactions anyway so booing him wasn't a big deal. Well I did get some bad looks from this kid from the row behind me for doing it. Because he had all this Cena stuff on. It was right before HHH turned full face. He was hinting it but was still supost to be Heel. That night HHH got the biggest pop.

I cheer heels when i go to wrestling matches.... because they are the most interesting characters, not in all cases, but I would say 60% of the time. If you pay for a ticket you can shout what you want if you ask me (granted your man got his for free) but bloody hell if some guy is gonna grab you cos you aren't cheering for the same guys as them then he is in the wrong, not you. However, marking for Khali? Dude your an ass!

If this is a joke its awesome. If not its one of the saddest things I have ever read in my life, either way the original poster nails the stereotypical uber nerd super smark to a tee.

There's a fine line between being a smark, and being an all out douche. And if the original post is true, then you crossed it.

They are characters/personas so why will you treat them differently from movie actors? Michael J. Fox doesn't go by the name "Marty McFly," and I am pretty sure Glen Jacobs doesn't go by "Kane" on his ID card.

Fox doesn't go by the name "Marty McFly," and I am pretty sure Glen Jacobs doesn't go by "Kane" on his ID card. Because it's not the movies. It's not a sitcom. It's wrestling. As a fan, the only interactions you have with the wrestlers are while they are in character. Even though you can go onto an angelfire website or a wikipedia page and look up all of their real names, doesn't mean you know the people. You only know the characters. Look at Undertaker, when he is in the audience at UFC they announce him as "WWE Wrestler The Undertaker". He's not even in character. He looks more like Biker Taker and yet they don't announce him as "Pro Wrestler Mark Calloway". If you were to run into him and be like "Hey Mark!" He'd probably ignore you unless he knew you personally and he'd probably yell at you or even hit you if you weren't somewhere where there was 5490568473 cameras.

I wish people would just say there "happy" or "cheering loudly" rather than that vulgar, grotesque phrase "marking hard". Sounds like a metaphor for masturbation if I ever heard it.
And no way can this post be genuine. It almost sounds like bait for someone like me. And this fish ain't rising to it. If it is, then as Roddy Piper (Roderick Toombs, Sr) once said to Ravishing Rick Rude (Richard Roode), "You're lower than the belly crawlers on the ocean, kid!"
