E.T. is a bad game, but it's not nearly as bad as it's legend is made out to be. It also sold a whole lot better than people think. It was one of only like two or three Atari games to sell over 1 million units.
When you do play it Madison, the book helps a lot if you have it on you. It explains what's going on, what your "mission" is and how to escape situations with greater ease. So much of the "pain in the assness", so to speak, on gamers is brought on by themselves in that game.
Also, I have three 2600's, a carrying case, and about 100 games for it. I know that doesn't help you Madison, but how much threads pop up where saying that is even somewhat relevent?
