I really hope he gets future endeavoured before his debut. The guy looks like a bigger potential fail than Mordecai turned out to be Mordecai's gimmick provided TONS of interesting angles... Too bad they picked an ultra-green guy to play it, and they had to can it in a hurry. Too early to judge Kizarny, but unless they come up with something really captivating, it could as well be a bad mix between Doink, Damian Demento and Boogeyman...

While the Carny talk is really annoying and probably bad for the guy's career, the WWE is doing something right with him: they are getting us all excited for him. If he came in as "John Johnson" or some other ridiculously half-assed name they seem to like handing out nowadays, we wouldn't give two snorks about the guy. But right now, he is being handled very well. Ah, the power of vizignettes.
EDIT: SNORK?! WHAT THE HELL?

There's a teensy bit more to Hornswoggle's appeal than looking weird. Hint: Kids. It's easy. More then 75% of the population loves midgets. 85% are men. Seriously when you are watching wrestling at your place and when your friends or roommates friends stop to see what you're watching they always want to see that midget or ask you when do they show that midget. The other things they want is flaming chairs, The Rock, and boobs!

I'm looking forward to Kizarny's debut... but I'll probably catch it on YouTube.

Why do you think he'll be a face? His promos make me think he'll be creepy and slightly psychotic, like Goldust or Mankind.

I didn;'t know Sinn Bowdee had been signed to the WWE. Good for him. He's a good talent. Love the man. And I don't get the complaining. Every time a new kid comes in without a gimmick, he's labeled as "bland", "vanilla" and "how does WWE expect him to get over without a gimmick?!". But when someone comes in with a gimmick, before they even debut, it's "doomed to fail." I don't get it.

Yeah, and Mordecai had a halfway interesting gimmick. This just seems doomed to fail. This isn't the 70s or 80s where "LOOK AT ME I'M REALLY WEIRD" can pass for a gimmick, anymore. You win, the closest thing I could post was a picture of Jeff Hardy, which is whom Kizarny really looks like. For a moment during the clips, I thought it was Jeff in some alternate universe.

Was there a vignette tonight, and if so, did it reveal any more about the character?

The people I meet when I walk down the street, they ask me my name and I say: My name is Yon Yonson, I live in Wisconsin...

Kizarny is actually a really good talent, with any luck people will look at his ring work instead of his language. Plus, his look is different than the generic hoss that has been coming in for the past...6 years or so. Wiat, wait, people will look at his ring work instead of his language? But it's Smackdown we're talking about, where great matches get zero reaction and HULKSMASH-style squash matches get huge pops. If we're relying on "dude can flat out work" to be the factor that gets over once the "OMG he talks all weird" thing gets old, it will die a fast death.

For all those curious, this is vignette number four, and Kizarny just became my hero for life with the "dizown thize hizatch" comment about sword swallowers:

But when someone comes in with a gimmick, before they even debut, it's "doomed to fail." I don't get it. Here's the issue. When they come in with no gimmick, it's usually one of those "have a match on TV, no hype, just show up, and then when you get no reaction, we fire you". When the guy gets a gimmick, it's some weird quirk like this. If they make him the modern day Waylon Mercy type, and don't have him speak every single sentence in carney talk, I will be fine with it. Give me Waylone Mercy or evil Doink, do NOT give me face Doink. That's where my fear lies with him.

This guy is going to get killed with "What!??" chants every time he gets the mic.
That said, I like his work in the ring and I hope he has a solid future with WWE. I can't wait for his in-ring debut....

I love that he's being given a gimmick. However, I think we should give him some TV time before we start hating on him.
