I LOVED this book. I had the honor of meeting the Hitman himself when it first came out in Canada and having him sign it for me there, it was awesome and I was star struck. He was apparently in Michigan by my girlfriend's work signing books last Monday, but she decided to tell me while I was in class. Not that I could have skipped, but I would have stood in line for another 3 hours just to tell him that his book was, by far, the best wrestling book I've ever read and it changed my opinion and how I look at the business in a lot of ways.
Its long, but it never feels boring. As someone said above, I didn't really want it to end. I would have loved more backstage stories, ribs, and other good stuff like that.

I too enjoyed the book immensely. Right up there right in front of Mick's and Jericho's, both great as well. I especially loved how he spoke of his life and career in such a fine chronological way. It was great reading about his time in WWF, especially around 1990 which is when I started following it, and hearing his stories while I remember watching alot of these things as they happened as well. Hearing about what we saw, and the things we didnt. Like his art, Bret paints very clear pictures of his life.
Bret comes off very humble and honest. There's always the chance of fabrication, tweaking or totally omitting certain things, but that something we never know. You can only enjoy the experiences the ride has to offer. 10 out of 10 for me.

Got the book for Christmas last year and have read it over and over pretty much ever since. Extraordinarily detailed; I did catch a couple of glaring factual errors, I am inclined to let them slide as the whole package is really well-written and he comes across as a flawed but sympathetic protagonist.
Since certain events had come to pass shortly before the book came out, I was particularly curious about how Bret treated one character among his cast of thousands. It turns out that mentions are relatively scant but undeniably positive, a view consistent with that in interviews he had given about the subject.
