they both stole it from hip hop culture, but booker gets a pass from me for having a bboying background, cena should really stop because he has nothing to do with hip hop

Nope. He stole it from Jadakiss.
Or he might have stole it from Tony Yayo.

they both stole it from hip hop culture, but booker gets a pass from me for having a bboying background, cena should really stop because he has nothing to do with hip hop A.) Booker T doesn't do the "You can't see me" hand sign in the video. He put his hand in front of his face for a second or two. Considering that he ALWAYS DOEST THAT, it's not noteworthy. B.) Cena did a rap album, so I think he has something to do with hip-hop. Before you go all "the album was garbage and not real hip-hop" on me, remember that it actually got fairly decent reviews from various hip-hop media sources. You can still argue til you're blue in the face that he's not "real hip-hop" (and you'd be right to an extent) but that's an opinion. C.) The you can't see me thing isn't derived from "hip-hop culture" it's straight up hip-hop lingo. "You can't see me" is just another way of saying "you're skills aren't as good as mine". It's an old school freestyle battle term. D.) Bboying has nothing to do with freestyle battling. Booker has less to do with freestyle battling and rapping in general than Cena does, therefore you're giving him a pass based on something stupid. Sounds to me like you just like Booker more than Cena, or think that all black people are part of the hip-hop culture. BTW, I've been making rap music for about 6 years now and I can't stand Cena. No personal bias coming from me at all on this issue, just trying to put in my 2cents.

"You can't see me" has been around FOREVER and its origins are far, far away from the squared circle.

Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, the original poster would certainly want you to believe that John Cena stole "you can't see me" from Booker T....and they make a good case, hell i almost felt pity myself, but ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury there is on last thing i want you to consider....ladies and gentlemen THIS IS CHEWBACCA..... Chewbacca is a wookie from the planet Kashyyyk, but chewbacca LIVES on the planet Endor...now think about this...THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Why would a wookie, an eight foot tall wookie live on the planet Endor with a bunch of 2 foot tall Ewoks? THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Now you have to ask yourself what this has to do with this case....nothing. Ladies and gentlemen it has nothing to do with this case, it does not make sense

Those streets are TOUGH! .....nah, I'm just snorkin' with ya. It's simple small town Massachusetts tucked away in the woods a half hour north of anything remotely "tough."

That Booker T clip is great. If you can't sing, just shout as loudly as you can.

Well I don't have any Mexican friends anymore, considering all the ones I meet around here don't speak a lick of English. I do have a few black friends that absolutely HATE rap music. So I be all like "YOU CAN'T SEE ME" and they STFU I feel all gay inside for typing that now.

Rap music, by definition, is part of hip hop culture. Even Vanilla Ice would and should be considered a hip hop artist. John Cena is a rap artist, therefore he has ties to hip hop.
