He specializes in Muay Thai, a kind of martial arts utilizing the eight deadly weapons- 2 hands, 2 elbows, 2 knees, 2 feet. Muay Thai also requires you to beat your shins against trees to toughen them up. This is where the 'high-knee' comes from. And the kicks? He just really likes drop kicks... lol, no it doesnt, outside of thailand and movies i dont know anywhere that practices that Dude Muay Thai is huge in he MMA community every fighter worth anything trains in Muay Thai. Though I'm sure most MMA guys don't go out and kick trees with their shins, it is something that most all pure Muay Thai fighters do.

I got bored and kicked my shins against a tree for a half an hour...surprisingly, the numbness prevented any sort of pain...kind of like when your friend dares you to sit in a bathtub full of ice and water for a half an hour...the pain is short lived.

Well that is the idea. If you keep doing it eventually you will kill the nerves in your shins I wouldn't do it though unless you plan on blocking a lot of kicks with your shins.

We had a teacher from Virginia come to my Jui-Jitsu class. He runs a MMA school. They actually do go out and kick trees. Not something I'd really wanna do, but if you're gonna be a fighter, might be useful.

Or have legs made out of wood. You know, to fight off woodpeckers.

His character knows Brazilian Jiu-Jutsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. are they wrestlers in fcw or something? No, you're thinking of American Kickboxer, who isn't currently signed with FCW

I used to do that, what it does is get your shins used to the cracking, you get used to the pain and you crack shins a lot when you spar. So it's a bitch, but it's kinda worth it. I did this on my own after watching the movie kickboxer and me being in karate i applied it and i was 7 Muay Thai isn't muay thai without being knocked out on your first day of training

Pro Wrestling Dictionary: - martial arts expert (n) --- anybody that kicks opponent above waist-level --- wrestler of Asian descent I just chuckled at this for a minute straight. Sometimes the truth is funnier than fiction. Well played.

I guess it just sounds better than, "CM Punk, the martial arts novice, will not be attending RAW next week due to his class holding a tournament. The WWE Universe would like to extend is congratulations, and here's hoping he can work his way past yellow this time!"
