I say they get rid of the "The" in Brian Kendrick's nickname, call him "Here's Brian Kendrick", and have him claim to be the new "H.B.K." ... Hmmm...interesting. I voted for Kendrick too.

People were asking this same question ten years ago with Edge, Christian, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Chris Jericho, and Rob Van Dam being the major candidates. The phrase HB2K was used some back then. Of course back then we all thought HBK's career was over. Anyway, I just thought that it is interesting that we were looking for the next HBK 10 years ago and here we are still looking for him. The next HBK that we were looking for in 1998 ended up arriving in 2002 and it was HBK. There is not going to be another HBK. There's only one.

I'm not quite sure, TGC. There won't be another Shawn Michaels, certainly. Yet another Hartbreak Kid? Another Mr.Wrestlemania? Another Showstopper*, Headliner, Main event? Time will tell. WWE can brand someone as either of these well enough with Michaels out of the ring and a few year.
*: actually, for me that title in particular goes much better with Kurt Angle.

I've thought Morrison was the next HBK since MNM debuted.
