Don't forget the British public eventually turn on all celebrities especially when they become to succesful, wrestlers are no different.
We also tend to cheer for the underdog and root for lovable losers, many don't like their heroes to achieve success.
Only the occasional all round great guy attains national treasure status, Batista is nowhere near that with his heelish antics.

The crowd was pretty smarky. But at the same time, while I don't want to get into national stereotypes, since there's plenty of American fans here who don't like Batista as a face, even without the heelish antics there's something about Batista as a face that isn't very endearing to a lot of British wrestling fans. That's just my perspective.

We only get 2 tapings a year. We need to fit 50 weeks of cheering and booing into 2 hours.
I wish they'd bring back the British PPVs. Also, why was there a London black cab in Manchester? Do they even have them in Manchester?

Us Brits are just attention seeking smarks really, we're actually all secretly smug that this thread was made in the first place acknowledging us.

Can't have a grudge worse than me tonight, I left just before the main event. Partially because of the time of the last train, but I don't feel like I missed anything
