At what point will a large chunk of the roster finally get sick of this crap? For everyone but the main event guys, the pay isn't that great (for the amount work and travel involved). They have to put up with the dress codes at events, the conduct codes outside the events, having to piss in a cup in front of somebody, the entire wellness policy thing (which punishes them for using things needed to get and keep their jobs) and now they're being bitched at for pot? In what industry would "independent contractors" put up with this? Maybe I am too jaded (or would it be naive?) but, where in the real world wouldn't they be put through this? Drug testing, dress and conduct codes, sucky pay and preferential treatment for the top guys, sounds normal to me. Most jobs don't require you to fly all over the world (often on your own dime), work when injured (due to work) and then tell you that you'll be fired because you've gotten hooked on the pain medicine you started taking so that you didn't miss work. Moreover, most jobs do have dress codes, but those don't involve showing up to work in a suit, changing into a pair of tights, romping around for 10 minutes, and then changing back into said suit. You'd be hard pressed to find ANY job that said that you had to keep "kayfabe" when you weren't working. Look at what happened to Nick Dinsmore. He got nailed on ALL of this. I'd love to have been around for that contract meeting. "Ok Nick. Here's the deal. You're going to be portraying a mentally disabled wrestler. To protect the business, you'll need to act like you're disabled whenever there are other people around. Also, you'll need to show up to work dressed like you're handicapped, then change into your suit, then change into your gear for the cameras, then change back into your suit, then change back into your handicapped-wear for the fans who will see you leave the building. Also, tough break on that knee injury, but you need to drive across three states tonight. Take some pain medicine, because you don't have time to see a doctor, but don't get hooked on the stuff. Oh, and don't forget, you can't spend the holidays with your family, because you have to go to Iraq to entertain the American troops in a war zone.

Considering they COULD get jailtime over pot use, 1000 bucks is a bargain. Sure, if they get popped in a state that sucks.

RVD declined the "invitation" to go on the Iraq tour and caught 10 different kinds of crap for it.

Well, considering the police don't get involved, and it stays off your record, it's worth it to a lot of people, especially ones with priors or probation. Sure, once again, if you get popped in a state that sucks. In Colorado getting caught with a bag of weed is a civil infraction. No record, no nothing, just a fine. Getting caught speeding in many cases is a bigger deal. Colorado's laws mirror about 12-13 other state's laws.

Oh, and don't forget, you can't spend the holidays with your family, because you have to go to Iraq to entertain the American troops in a war zone. And you do realise that they film the tour over two weeks BEFORE Christmas, specifically so every single wrestler actually CAN spend the holidays with their loved ones.

Oh, and don't forget, you can't spend the holidays with your family, because you have to go to Iraq to entertain the American troops in a war zone. They don't have to go as some of them have refused to go on the tour before. And as someone said it is filmed two weeks before so every wrestler does spend time with their families.

Oh, and don't forget, you can't spend the holidays with your family, because you have to go to Iraq to entertain the American troops in a war zone. wwe wrestlers work five day weeks like the rest of us edge is currently having a three month break WITH pay to rest up the wwe are actually fairly good with time off for family/injuries lance storm once said most wrestlers aren't forced to work through injuries, they want too because they love the business so much how football players do you see plat through injuries put surgery off till the end of the season etc.. the wee wopuld be stupid to say "hey hope that acl isn't too bad but we need you to work a house show tonight" thats stupid business practice. the other major major major point curt hawkins a jobber who's match got cut from this weeks smackdown is on $150,000 a year downside gaurntee. from a guy who works 6 day weeks for $20000 australian (makes it about 12000 US) i don't see the problem. ohhh and dress codes well duh of course a foturne 500 company wants there most visiable employees looking good

Yes but you have to remember these guys have to pay for their own travel and health insurance which costs them an absolute bomb because of the line of work they are in.

I originally said Adamle as it would explain his many mistakes but with his dismissal from the company another individual caught my attention: THE Brian Kendrick. Think about it. He went from main eventing the championship scramble to jobbing left and right.

Him and Zeke have been winning pretty much nonstop.

It's not like MVP's terrible streak. I'm glad they're at least portraying it as bad luck and all for him, and that there's a storyline attached. It could be worse, like if they just treated it like he's expected to choke.
