I was at the ceremony for Heenan's induction and was just cracking up. At one point he said WWF and went "oops" and then went on listing all of the animals back then (Bulldogs, Killer Bees, Snakes, Dragons,) and the matches being called by a gorilla and a weasel. Just really funny stuff, I need to find it and rewatch it again. Since you were there I have to ask. I have heard a lot about Blackjack Lanza's induction speech for Heenan but that it got edited way down for the video. What on earth did he say? It's too hard to list all that I liked, but one that I didn't like was Jesse Ventura's. I'm surprised no one brought this line up... Sheik: In 6 years nobody beat Mr. Bob Backlund. In the most famous arena in the world Madison Square Gardens, I put him in the...Camel Clutch! GIMME A HELL YEAH! Crowd: Hell yeah!

When he said that I felt the wind get knocked out of me from the shock that Piper said it followed by uproarious laughter on my part.

Its been too long, I haven't seen the DVD and I can't remember Lanza's speech, but from what I know it makes sense that it was cut. The event was at a hotel convention room and wasn't televised. It went on for hours, they took all the time in the world to talk. It may have become boring for some, but not to me. It was like a seminar. There wasn't any assholes that could have chanted "Boring" and we were all required to dress formally. The next year in 2005 I attended the event at Universal Studios. It said on the tickets to dress formally, so we (my mother and I) did, but others chose not to (majority wore Hulkamania T=shirts). I also want to point out that in video packages during Michaels and Hogan's feud, I was featured as the guy in the suit raising his finger chanting one more match. At least, I think that was me. I wore the same suit, but it may had been someone else, I was so caught in the moment that I didn't notice any cameras.

I loved Bret Hart's speech, as well as Heenan's and Flair's.
I wasn't a fan of Orndorffs or Billy Graham's.
