This thread makes me sad Rob Liefeld ever got into comics. But he gave us so much to laugh at. And he got rich off of bad art.

I can't find a specific example but Rob Liefeld-drawn women have a size triple Z bra-size and a size negative 10 waistline. If that woman was real, she'd topple over everytime she tried to stand up.
Oh, and pouches.

Eh, Lee's proportions tended to be exaggerated, but they weren't necessarily BAD. I liked his artstyle for the most part.

I wouldn't say that Lee is as bad as Liefeld. Afterall, he hasn't created characters that are so similar to established characters from other companies. Oooh, I went there.

Everyone had a gun, long hair and was a different color eventually, and made fun of the dot com boom.
There we go.

You forgot that any "futuristic" comic involved virtual reality, which was supposedly "the wave of the future!".

Ah of course, everyone was in space at some point Well, by the '90s, that was more of a comic cliche in general than a '90s cliche.

But he gave us so much to laugh at. And he got rich off of bad art. The same way Michael Turner did, and the next generation of fans will make fun of his poor work, all the while claiming the artist who draws poorly that they like is wonderful until the next gen of fans replaces them and points out how terrible he was and how much better their artist that draws terribly is. There's a tremendous cycle of artists ignoring the human figure and selling gangbusters only to be shunned when the next hot thing comes out, and usually the next big things is inspired by the now terrible artist.
