Okay good point. What about Air Bud? I thought he was only played Basketball, Football, and Soccer. Plus I heard he was currently under contract with the Knicks. I don't know how that worked out. Probably was a 1st baseman - er, dog.

The Phillies reportedly will trade Adam Eaton to any team willing to take on $1 million of the $9 million he's still owed.

Get used to this NL. The 9th inning just became a lot scarier for you. We're not even done with the bullpen yet...I can't wait to see the other additions.

I'm getting an ulcer. I follow both the Nats and Os, so I'd be happy with either team getting him, but apparently all the offers Boras has gotten is for 8 years. That includes offers from Anaheim, Boston, Washington, and Baltimore.

We're not even done with the bullpen yet...I can't wait to see the other additions. How about JJ Putz? The deal supposedly involved Franklin Gutierrez and Endy Chavez. After two excellent seasons, Putz was a train wreck last year. Although that was probably a result of being injured and limited to 47 appearances.

Three way deal that is almost close: Mets receive: J.J. Putz Indians recieve: Aaron Heilman Mariners receieve: Mike Carp Endy Chavez Oh man, that deal would be AWESOME! Oh man, Seattle would get a decent prospect in Carp Oh man...Sajoa Moe is going to go apeshit

If Putz regains his old form, the Mets have quite the 1-2 bullpen combo.
Also, the Tigers are about to acquire Edwin Jackson from Tampa for Matt Joyce. With David Price ready to start, Jackson was obviously the odd man out of that rotation.

Rumor: Orioles up their offer to 10 yrs/$200 million.
This is getting out of control. I would not be surprised of Boras is playing the Os right now.

Pirates traded some insignificant player making more than league minimum and probably had a higher batting average than 7 out of 9 players on the field for some unknown who won't mind muddling around in a sub par baseball environment knowing that he'll never be above .500 again.
But hey, our two new pitchers from the reality show in India should be stateside soon.

Trying to get info about the Putz deal guys. It's looking something like: Seattle gets: Franklin Guiterrez, Mike Carp, Endy Chavez Cleveland gets: Heilman and others (HA HA!) Mets get: Putz, Jeremy Reed, and another player.
It could still change. There's also a chance the M's may get Heilman and Cleveland gets Joe Smith. All I know is that the Mets gave up 6, they're getting back 3, this is a TWELVE PLAYER DEAL!

At least the Mariners won't lose half the farm system like they did when they traded for Bedard.

Ani, you better teach Sajoa the technique for dealing with Heilman appearances. Ya know, turn the lights off, hide in the corner of the room, and pray for the best ;D

From msn.foxsports.com:
The Mets are working to acquire a setup man for new closer Francisco Rodriguez — and that setup man would be another closer from the American League West.
J.J. Putz could be headed to the Mets in a three-team trade with the Mariners and Indians, according to major-league sources.
Under terms of the deal, the Mets would get Putz, outfielder Jeremy Reed and reliever Sean Green from Seattle.
The Mariners would receive reliever Aaron Heilman, outfielder Endy Chavez and first baseman Mike Carp from the Mets. They'd also get Franklin Gutierrez from the Indians and minor leaguers.
The Indians would get reliever Joe Smith from the Mets and infielder Luis Valbuena from Seattle.

Diamondbacks signed infielder Augie Ojeda to a one-year deal for $712,500. I still can't believe Ojeda turned down the Yankees eight-year, $120 million contract. Gotta give the guy credit.
