...For me?
F*** it's been a while already and I still can't drive a car for s***.
Honestly I have no idea why it's so snorking difficult for me. There are people I know who get it "just like that", yet I, the person who got the permit first, just can't. Guys and Girls, if you know how to drive, (or maybe are in the process of learning as well) How was/is it like for you? How did you end up learning how? How long did it take you?
Is there any advice or help you could give me, to help me get out this pitiful situation?
I just want to snorking learn how already! I grovel before you all, please help a person out. I thank you ahead of time.
Edit:
Oh and I'll get this out of the way: "because you touch yourself at night."

The only advice I can give without having seen you drive is don't over think it, which is what it sounds like you are doing.
Are you driving a stick or automatic?
Also what mistakes are you making?

Basically you just put your feet through the bottom of the car and run when you want to accelerate and hold your feet flat when you want to brake. But don't try to put giant ribs in your car or else it'll tip it over. But seriously, do you drive a Manual or Automatic?

What is giving you trouble exactly? Steering, speed control, lane position etc...

Sorry, All. I didn't mean for you guys to teach me how to drive. (because that would be stupid to ask over the internet.) I was just wondering what everyone's experiences were when they were learning how, and what I could do to help better myself (again without teaching me how to drive over the net ) Automatic, by the way.

I got my permit when I was 15 got my license at 16 on the first try, Passed the written test with flying colors. Learned to drive a standard before I got my permit, have had my license now for ten years and have never had a ticket, or wreck. I don't know what else to tell ya. Guess it just comes natural to some folks.

Yea, and not so well for others. P.S: I'm over-thinking this, because of a discouraging lecture from my mother today...

It was difficult at first. I was especially a little worried when I barely passed the written exam at literally the bare minimum (80%) at the very bottom of the class. But then I took the test and passed. Since then, I've had zero accidents or tickets of any kind. Of course, I go to college in a city now, where I can get around just by riding trains and subways, so I haven't driven regularly in a while.
I guess I'd say, don't overthink it, and practice frequently. Find a frequently empty parking lot (or other open driving area) of a decent size to practice in and get the hang of driving.

Maybe switch teachers?
Sometimes the proper Teaching style is all it takes.

I failed to pass my driving test too. I had over two years of lessons and still kept making mistakes so I quit. I just failed to keep concentration and so kept making errors.

I failed my test 5 times and passed on my 6th.
All I can say is practice, and get an instructor you can get along with. I'm amazed I passed because my instructor just pointed out cute young girls and chatted rubbish during my lessons, it kept me calm though so it helped.

It took me a year. Eventually I changed Driving Instructor which helped a great deal.
Practice is key though.

It took me a few months of being useless until it clicked for me, I was so bad my first lesson was just driving around a car park as I couldn't even get the basics right.
I think what helped was finally taking the advise to look around me rather than directly ahead of the bonnet, it made me a lot less nervous, I suppose this ties into not over-thinking things. Not getting worked up over every mistake helped too.

My grandfather taught me how to drive in his bigass Buick landyacht.
If you can drive something that large, you can drive anything (it's true, I had to drive my dad's bigass SUV a few weeks ago and I'd never driven anything that large, and I could do it)
A misspent youth enjoying racing games probably helped my case too.
Really though, just treat the car like an extension of your body. As said above, don't overthink it. You'll do fine.

It just takes practice, kid. And someone to practice driving with who is cool and will explain things to you calmly.

Practice, practice, practice, some people take to driving like a duck to water, others like a brick to water. It took me ages to pass my driving test as passing it in the UK is so hard and expensive. Can't even learn until you turn 17 and each lesson costs at least £20 per hour. Its an average of 40 hours of lessons before you are test ready. Firstly you need to do your theory which has two stages and has an incredibly high pass mark. Then you take your practical which is around £50 each time. It took me three attempts to pass my practical. So my advice to you is practice and be very glad you dont live in the UK!

I don't know why but for some reason either luck or just naturally decent at it, I passed the written and driving portions of the test my first try. I did have a good driver's ed teacher though
