Is the Matt Stryker there the one currently in ECW on Sci-Fi? No, it's this one: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_StrykerThat first douche looked like Chris Penn. I definitely have a lot of respect for Tony Atlas; to me that looked like a man who was 100% devoted to the business and others. This made me laugh:

Awesome how he does a moonsault and lands on his feet at the same time. There is talent out there.

Is it wrong that my favorite part of the documentary is watching that dude fail at every aspect of wrestling school?

"I tried to get a psych degree...for psychology. I tried to get a business degree...for business"
That makes me laugh to this day.

Wasn't Shark Boy on one of these MTV: True Life's? Nah, that was the episode of "Made" where the kid got to go down to Florida and got trained by the Motor City Machine Guns, had to carry Low Ki on his back, and got taught to stay loose in the ring by Samoa Joe. Good times. Except for that wasn't in Florida. That was in Michigan, as the kid wrestled in his very first match at Border Championship Wrestling a few months back.

This made me laugh: I suspected as much, with the unibrow and all but it never hurts to ask. I knew Chris Penn was gonna fail as soon as his mom had to wake him up. Talk about someone who had no idea what he was getting into. James St. Jean was a prick. I thought maybe it was editing but you can't edit a smirk as you talk about guys not getting paid.

Did I see Bam Neeley and Petey Williams as well? I could swear I saw Bam Neeley, but I don't know who Petey Williams is.

We should all go find James St. Dean's house and egg it and write in big spray painted letters on the front "TONY ATLAS FTW" Seriously it is promoters like that that give the wrestling business a bad name.

I remember watching this back in high school. I didn't know who Tony Atlas was at the time but I looked up the tag title history and saw he held the belts with the Rock's dad. He was instantly cool in my book.

Do you think Tony Atlas got hired again by WWE just so he could get back on his feet or do you think they really needed him this time?
