All this talk of Wolverine's godlike regeneration...yet he jobs to big robots. (In "Days of a Future Past" he was killed by one measly blast from a dorky Sentinel.) Yeah exactly. Marvel continuity is a joke. I just kinda hate Sentinels and robot villains in general. I remember there was a comic called "What if Magneto Took over the U.S.A?" and I thought it was going to be kinda cool to see what horrors Magneto brings down on humans...instead Magneto is in the comic for maybe 3 pages, is killed by Sentinels, who proceed to kill off nearly all the rest of the super heroes (except Wolverine and a few dumb G list heroes). I always wondered how glorified giant robots took out Thor, Hulk, Silver Surfer, and other such characters who would eat them for lunch.

Because Wolverine with a grill (even if it WAS before grills started) would look f***ing stupid. Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. Perhaps when they do the lil' john/wolverine crossover.

Doesn't Wolverine at one point live through a nuclear bomb that melts him down to his skeleton and he survives? Maybe. I know he survived getting ALL the Adamantium ripped off his bones by Magneto, Hulk ripping him in half at the waist, and taking his legs several miles way, and regenerating/coming back to life from ONE DROP OF BLOOD. Ok, let's pretend that he actually could regenerate from a drop of blood. Where does he regain the Adamantium from? Or does he regenerate that too. Or did a Wizard do it.

Perhaps the adamantium effected his bones at a cellular level. Instead of having "adamantium laced" bones, his bone cells are actually a hybrid of bone/adamantium.

Did he regen the metal after Magneto ripped it out of him? If so, I think you have the answer. (I don't know, I don't recall reading those issues) If not..... Wizard did it.

Nope, it was first put back into him by Genesis, Cable's son, but his body rejected it, causing him to go feral. Eventually, Apocalypse put it back into him for him permanently (unless he gets it taken out of him... again).

He was interesting to me for the first time in some time when he first had the adamantium ripped from him. I was hoping that he would become depressed, want to die, and tries like hell to go out with a bang but just can't seem to get killed.

Yeah at the time all everyone seemed to want to know was "When will Wolverine get his adamantium back?" but in hind sight it was for me the last hurrah of the character's development. I think the problem is Wolverine's powers never equalled his popularity. The character lost its meaning after the rise of the X Men film franchise. Suddenly Wolverine was Marvel's flagship character and they had to find some way to stick him in every book they could think of. Every X title, 3 or 4 Wolverine books, Avengers, Cameos everywhere else... with so many writers dealing with one character, continuity was bound to get messed up. Not only that but they had to amp up his powers to justify making him the centre of so many stories.

Wait, so he completely regenerated his entire freakin' body from one drop of blood, And all of his flesh and organs incinerated from a nuclear blast, and was torn in half and he came back from it?
Christ almighty.
