Please for the sake of mankind and for all true wrestling fans out there please wwe take this guy off tv. Enough is enough. For over two years now we have had this lepracon shoved down our throats. First he was Vinces's baby now he is the son of the kid friendly Finley who dances with kids after matches in the ring! If that wasn't bad enough explain how he went from being able to talk to only being able to grunt and make strange noises. If your goin to use a lepracon atleast follow the blueprint that wcw layed out with Chettah or whatever the evil lepracon they had in wcw name was. I can't believe i am actually giving wcw credit and using them as a refernce for anything that was successful but anyways at least return him to the lovable little bastard that attacked people not this comic played out routine. First we had an over dose of Eugene as the fun and lovable kid friendly wrestler and now this. Lastnight was my final straw with him...Please Miz and Morrison just get rid of that damn thing once and for all. He is old, stale and boring. It was funny 2 years ago now he is just a waste of airtime. I disagree..... I don't think Hornswoggle was funny 2 years ago.

I liked Little Bastard. I'd find Hornswaggle more entertaining if they reverted him to his Little Bastard routine. But yeah, I too am sick of this kid friendly Finlay and Hornswaggle. At least he's not being shoved down our throats as heavily as he was during his time as Vince's son. I also don't like this happy-go-lucky kid friendly Finlay. He shouldn't be smiling and dancing and talking about how he loves Hornswaggle so much. Hell, make Finlay a heel by having him become an abusive father and I'd find it more entertaining than this Doink and Dink stuff.

An abusive father storyline would not fit the PG rating. And with the whole Benoit tragedy, making Finlay an abusive father isn't exactly the best idea.

oh cmon! if Rocky Johnson vs 20 midgets could sell then why cant this? (points for knowing wtfunk i am talking about) anywho he entertains me... he's not harming the show... people love him... plus whenever he gets attacked its comedic gold so really he's awesome That was the same card Matt and Jeff Hardy went to war, great times. Remember when Ken Shamrock threatened to beat up that guy in the front row? I actually heard the guy was a Korean War veteran.

I was at MSG sunday, the smarkiest of smark buildings. Every time Hornswagle did something the building erupted. I don't think he'll be going away anytime soon. hammerstien ballroom says hello, erupt? really? thats stretching it, im aware kids dig him, but i find a 12 second focus shot on the top turnbuckle more entertaining the him.

He's one of the few guys in WWE that if they future endeavored tomorrow, I would have no issue whatsoever.
When he just hid under the ring and came out on occasion and Finlay used him as a weapon and acted like he had no idea what anyone was talking about when he was mentioned, that was alright.
The current Hornswoggle....ugh.
The worst thing though is what they've done to Finlay's charecter. He was one of the best things on Smackdown in 2006 and 2007. Now he's, well, whatever he is now. Basically a Doink and Dink ripoff. And the originals weren't even good.

You all need to come to terms with the simple fact that Hornswoggle is the best character in pro wrestling right now.

I mean the whole explanation of who his real father was made even less sense. I mean if Finley cared so much about his son why in the hell would he put him in a situation where he would be in such a position...and how big of a dick does Finley look for allowing his son to take weeks of embarrassment and punishment by Vince for apparently no reason what so ever. I mean Finley didn't even get anything out of that. His payment must be an eternity of handing out inflatable mallets...and they are mallets cause the look nothing like Finleys silally...

I personally dont think he needs getting rid of, what we need is some sort of change of direction.
Now we all know Finlay is a bad father, he used his son for money (the McMahon angle) and he lets him steal with seemingly no punishment. (multiple times, including recently taking the commentary teams Slammy) So it makes sense that Horny would be a little wayward, and have bad friends.
For a couple of weeks, have Hornswoggle not show up when he is meant to, not be on ECW at all and when questioned about it Finlay can state that he's been staying away longer and coming home later and basically being more of a little bastard than ever.
A few weeks later, Matt Hardy in the ring and Hornswoggle appears and gets in the ring. Matt does the whole 'silly kid' thing every wrestler does with Horny, and basically tells him to go back to Finlay cause Matt has something to do. Swoggle does his down syndrome child talk schtick and points behind Matt, who turns around and gets layed out by Seamus O'Shaunnesay who beats the hell out of Hardy.
Then SoS can go on a big heel run as a bad ass, have Hornswoggle at his side being a cheating little shit, and set up a feud with Finlay who wants to teach his boy a lesson with occasional tag matches with SoS/Horn vs Hardy/Finaly to all involved in the introduction are involved.
I think with his own side story, a new partner to play off, and a heel turn and direction they can get another year out of Hornswoggle. Although given the pops he gets, he'll likely be face for another 6 months.

Hammerstein Ballroom is filled with 2500 smarks, The Garden holds about 18,000 for a house show, I'd wager 8000 Smarks. And they went nuts when he did the Tadpole Splash, probably the biggest pop of the night.

Apparently not, he seems to have a good time out there and I know some on here would love for him to be a heel again and go back to having matches with Regal that mostly smarks would care for, but this seems like a nice fit for him and Hornswoggle as the crowd loves it.

I think Hornswoggle is lame, but I haven't watched ECW in ages, so I've managed to avoid most of his stuff.

I just feel like he's at a stage in his career where he's done all he can do (let's face it, Finlay was never gonna be a world champion, nor is he anywhere near a main event level player) and is now just having fun being a care free babyface. Nevermind that he can be used to help put people over/work with some of the newer guys
