I haven't been following WWE programming in about 5 months. Could someone give me a quick run down of what's going on? Current champs, unforeseen pushes, quality fueds? Anything?

The only thing I know is that he's THE Brian Kendrick and HHH vs. Jeff Hardy is on SD.

WWE Tag Champs: Carlito and Primo Colon (beat Hawkins and Rider in Sept.)
Divas' Champ: Maryse (Beat Michelle McCool last week on Smackdown)

ECW Champ: Matt Hardy

World Heavyweight Champ: John Cena (beat Chris Jericho at Survivor Series)
Intercontinental Champ: William Regal (beat Santino)
World Tag Champs: Miz and Morrison (Beat Kofi and Punk the Sat. before Armageddon at a House Show)
Women's Champ: Beth Phoenix


Steph took over RAW after Mike Adamle quit. She then slapped Shane saying RAW was her show.

Jeff Hardy was "attacked" before Survivor Series, where he was to wrestle for the title in a triple threat, only to be replaced by the returning Edge (and a rockin' beard) who won the title.

Batista is out for several months following hamstring surgery.

MVP still hasn't won a match.

Regal and Punk are starting a feud over the IC title.

Orton has started a 2nd-gen stable, "The Legacy", with Cody Rhodes and Sim Snuka (formerly Deuce). Manu and Ted DiBiase, Jr. (out since November after being punted by Orton) are on the borderline in regards to this group.

Cena is WWE champion, JBL used HBK (his poor employee) to win the #1 contenders match so its Cena vs JBL for the title at the Rumble

Mizorrison are the tag champs... no real feud

William Regal is the IC champion and is facing CM Punk next raw for the title because Punk won a tourny for said opportunity

Beth Pheonix is Womens champ and is still with Santino... who is hurting his nuts every week

Randy has gotten a group together called Legacy which is basically made of 2nd generation stars. it consists of Sim Snuka (Deuce) and Cody Rhodes

Stephanie Mcmahon and Shane seemed to have a feud going but it's been dropped for several weeks so i dunno whats going on with that.

cant think of much else for Raw...

Smackdown:

Jeff Hardy! is WWE champion, he has a match against Edge for the title at the royal rumble. recently he was pushed down a flight of stairs causing him to lose an opportunity for the title which has yet to be solved... in the minds of the IWC Matt Hardy and Christain (who has left TNA and rumor has it is joining WWE shortly) are the top suspects

Colons (Carlito and his brother Primo) are tag champs and are feuding with TBK and Ezekial Jackson (basically his bodyguard)

Shelton Benjamin is the US champ... had a nice fight with a returning Hurricane Helms (Gregory Helms)

Divas champ is Marise (definitely spelt that wrong) who won it from McCool last week... McCool is now heel and feuding with Maria

i think thats it for Smackdown...

ECW:
Matt Hardy is ECW champion and seems to be feuding with Vladimir over the title...

Jack Swagger seems to be a big hit and is probably gonna be in the title hunt soon

and Finlay/Hornswoggle are in a feud with Mark Henry/Tony Atlas who basaically just wanna hurt Horny

Miz and Morrison are World Tag Champions, having defeated Kofi Kingston and CM Punk. Mark Henry's aided by Tony Atlas these days, Deuce became Ssssssssssim Ssssssssssnuka and is in an angle to join legacy, Manu is probably getting kicked out of Legacy; this is Orton's stable of multi-generational stars. Shawn Michaels is a hobo that answers to JBL in order to make money, JBL is going to challenge Cena at the Royal Rumble for the WWE title (which Jericho lost), Matt Hardy's been feuding with Mark Henry with match after match after match, a returned Melina is being pushed to challenge Beth Phoenix for the women's title, Maryse is the diva's champion but is injured for a few weeks, Michelle McCool has turned into a heel the crowd is somewhat apathetic for, MVP has been on a huge losing streak, and CM Punk won a tourney to challenge William Regal for the IC title. Oh, and Nick Nemeth from the Spirit Squad is back as Dolph Ziggler.

That's the relevant stuff I can think of off the top of my head.

Hey, when Batista's back and is on the verge of a title push, can you not post every other day? Not that I want him to be injured, I just don't want him to screw up a good thing as it is right now.

Well let's try..

After Being Fired following his loss to Edge in a TLC match, Undertaker came back at Summerslam in a Hell In A Cell match against Edge, which was awesome and featured Undertaker doing to Edge everything Edge had done to him over the past year (Camera shot, Conchairto, Spear, etc) After the match edge was chokeslammed off a ladder through the ring and got sent to "hell" (complete with Fire coming out the hole)

After winning the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk held it until Unforgiven, losing it in a match he didn't even compete in, the Clustersmurf known as the Scramble match... Who won? well I'll get to that in a second..


Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho's feud continued, and at Summerlsam really started to heat up after Jericho accidently knocked out Michael's wife, At Unforgiven HBK faced Jericho in ann un-sanctioned match, Shawn was beating Jericho up so viciously that the ref stopped the match to save Jericho's life...

At the same event a new stable was stirring, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase had een joined by Manu: AKA Afa Jr and were trying to get Randy Orton to praise them, This led to Orton and the other three attacking CM Punk backstage during an interview, Punk Getting Punted and there being an empty slot in the scramble match

The Scramble match was bassically a match which lasted for 20 minutes and featured five men, two start off and another enters ever 4 minutes I think, Whenever someone pins someone else they become the "Interm champion" or IT, whoeve ris IT at the ensd wins

so Punk had the final slot in the Scramble, which was taken over by...

Jericho (the man who an hour earlier was near death), Jericho won th echampionship in the final 5 seconds...

This led to the HBK/Michaels feud bassically ending at No Mercy in an amazing Ladder match.

Over on the blue brand Triple-H was reigning supreme, but recently Jeff Hardy had been coming after him, at No Mercy Jeff lost to Hunter, then at the Survivor series we were set for a triple threat main event, HHH Vs Jeff Hardy vs Vladmir Koslov..

An hour before Survivor Series started it was announced that Hardy had been found unconcious in a stairwell at his hotel (It was a work) meaning he was replaced by the returning Edge, who won...

Then at Arrmageddon we had Edge Vs Hunter BVs Hardy, with Hardy winning finally


Now onto other stuff

Randy Orton, Dibiase Jr, Cody rhodes and Manui are now a stable, calling themselves legacy.

Deuce is no longer Deuce he is Sim Snuka


Charlie hass has an impersinator gimmick and is suprisingly awesome with it

MVP is on a 15 week losing streak at the moment

Shelton benjamin is US Champion

the Miz And John Morrison are the WWE Tag Champions


Carlito and his youger brother Primo are World Tag Champions

William Regal is Intercontinental Champion, though he is facing CM Punk for it this week

Goldust is back, and awesome

Khali is now the host of the Kiss Cam, and a face


Kane has went batcrap crazy and heel

Foley has left and gone to TNA (But not before taking part in the promo of the year with Edge)

Flair is gone too

batista was champion for a week

And that's about it off the top of my head...

Over the last three editions of Raw, Kelly has been stalked, kidnapped and interrogated by Kane. Who took a throwaway comment to mean she was in love with him. Demanded to know who her boyfriend was, destroyed the Miz who he thought was the one, then it turned out Kelly lied to him. Then Miz and Morrison trash her hotel room. Then we find out the secret lover is Orton, who up front admitted to using her in a one night stand.

Oh and Beth's got a stalker fan, Melina's got a title shot, Candice has fallen completey off the map, Layla's a valet, Katie Lea has moved to ECW and Mickie is........well Mickie

The slammy awards returned, Miz and Morrison got 2 slammys one for best wwe.com show and one for tag team of 08, CM Punk got a slammy for the "oh my god" moment of 08 when he won the world title from Edge, Edge and Vickie got a slammy for couple of the year, Beth Phoenix got a slammy for diva of the year, Evan Bourne got a slammy for breakout star of the year, Todd Grisham and Matt Striker got a slammy for best announcer team, R-Truth got a slammy for best performance and Jericho got one for superstar of the year.
