I deleted all my WoW software and sold the game (I wasn't playing it much anyway) I cut my cell phone bill in half by having lower minutes and a texting limit (All the people I talk and text to have the same provider as me anyway)

Honestly, my fiancee and I don't really think about it. While we have technically "cut back," I don't think it counts when you think you're getting more for less money. (We switched from Comcast cable and phone to Dish Network HD and Skype.) Everything else is the same. We don't smoke, and I keep my drinking to one six-pack a week, so that helps. (It's not a money thing for me though. Alcoholism supposedly skips a generation and... well... my grandfather was a raging alcoholic back in "the day." One six-pack a week is my little "insurance policy.") I guess we don't get as much "other stuff" that we used to, but it isn't really that noticeable. We still eat well, pay all of the bills, and still can afford our IWC and PWX DVDs. Neither of us lost our job, which is always nice. In fact, my bosses started to freak out when they thought that I was quitting. (Now that's job security.) We - "we" as in us, our extended families, and our two cats - are happy and healthy. That's all that matters, really.

I no longer blind buy DVD releases (I signed up for Blockbuster Online months ago, and I've saved $100s so far!)
Other then that I am spending like normal. (Knock on wood) I haven't been hurt by this "crisis" as of late, so I'm doing my part helping the economy and having fun in life.

i have put on hold all purchases for sharp office threads. not that big a decision when u see how ppl dress to office. havent purchased a 360 game off the shelves in ages. always scout the used game market for bargains. (i got oblivion for 10 $). replay all games on the hardest mode, doing things in totally opposite ways(vampire ftw in oblivion) etc.
rewatch all the movies in collection and reread all comics. its amazing how much stuff we accumulate and never use again. no music purchases for a year. its all radio for me.. basic cable and net connection. drop and pick service for office transport. weekends are just books, games and tv.
sigh!!! when will things improve!!!

Unfortunately, in these tough times, I have to cut back on swimming through my enormous vault of gold coins. Three times a week as opposed to four. Le sigh.

I really don't think there is anything I can cut back on. I don't spend money. I haven't bought clothes in like three years. I don't smoke. I don't play video games. I don't drink(sure I'm only 20 but even when I'm 21 I doubt I'll drink, just don't have interest in it.)
All I really pay for right now is gas for my car, car insurance, and a gym membership which I need to drop since I never have time to go now that I work night shift.
I'm one cheap mothersmurfer.

I drink less but that's a coincidence and I haven't really cut back spending (I don't really need to at the moment though because I'm not paying bills or taxes).

I'm actually quite strapped for cash. As you can see, my house is falling apart.

I haven't really "cut back". I've just recently gotten a $1,200 tax return, and as such, actually have a bit of money to save, whereas before, I was literally living paycheck-to-paycheck, having to balance rent, car payments, insurance, and eating (I live with my family, so no utilities). I've allowed myself to splurge a little bit (Wii), but I fully intend to keep my money for a much greater purpose;
Getting the funk outta my parents' house.

Holding onto grant money for school and hoping to file taxes soon.
Just in a moment where it becomes critical to have a backup stash. There are other ways to prepare but I can only do one day at a time.

Well, I just watched the first hour of the MC Hammer Story, and if I've learned anything, it's that the money never runs out.
So I'm just gonna keep ballin' out of control in my Land Rover and carry on like normal.

I hardly spend anything on myself. With loan repayments and phone that comes first. Living at my parents house at the moment whilst I search for a full time job so that saves on bills and food. Its not a great time folks, especially for a fresh of of uni graduate.
