But what would Orton do at No Way Out, just sit there, and do nothing. Thats easy, have the GM throw whatever wrestler at Orton to "avenge" the two Mcmahons. Seems to be the basic formula But see it from a buildup side Have shane go over tonight. Next week, have them in a confrontation again and the third and final week, have Orton go over, which will get people behind shane for No Way Out. Simple wrestling buildup

Then you have to wonder why the WWE would waste a big Shane match at No Way Out. Why put that on the card with 2 chamber matches when you could simply save the feud and inevitable NHB match for a bigger show like Summerslam? I still think punting him would have made the biggest impact for ratings which is what Vince always wants.

Well, if this is building to a bigger storyline where one of the McMahon's turns heel and joins up with Legacy, NWO will just be the location of the next plot twist. Then you can build the now even BIGGER storyline up to the grand-daddy of them all, 'Mania, where most of the McMahon-involved feuds culminate ANYWAY. Then that'll be that.

So long as we don't have Linda doing anything. The woman seems to be great in business, but her acting is so wooden you can see termites running out her ears.

I swear, when she kicked JR in the hoohoo-dilly, I honestly thought I saw her grimace and say, "I'm sorry!" Before making with the awful acting.

CM Punk has only beaten Chris Jericho 2 times, once in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring, and once in a main event of Raw during the whole Batista/Jericho fued, by the way does anyone truly miss Batista?

After thinking Shane's onslaught was a bit ridiculous-looking last night, I re-watched it on .COM and saw that it came across a lot better than the first time around.

I've gotta say, I avoided these forums for most of the day because I thought there would just be an explosion of rage at that last segment, but you guys have really shocked me about how calm you are.
I felt it was one of the most poorly thought through and executed segments in a long time. I think an Orton vs. Shane hardcore match with Orton's Wrestlemania title shot on the line is sensible booking, but why didn't they just announce that match and maybe show some footage from Shane's past matches to close the show. Instead we have one McMahon (and the surname *is* important here) beat down 3 of final four guys in the Royal Rumble into retreat after they'd done an awesome job of building them up at the Rumble. He didn't even have to do any hardcore spots. And speaking of those spots, they're pretty much his only believable offense, since Shane's reputation as a performer is as someone who *always* gets his ass handed to him in the end. Even if Shane hadn't been gassing after 45 seconds and looking old and tired it would've been a stupid idea. The crowd reaction speaks for itself.
I don't want to overreact, as I'm sure they'll recover from this and try and get Orton's heat back (like I said Orton vs Shane on paper is sensible booking), and they didn't kill Wrestlemania with this segment or anything like that. But come on guys, a bad segment is a bad segment. It served to ruin the show and I think it's bound to affect ratings next week when they've got a very short build to NWO.

2. I went on Sat. and the 2:40 showing was packed with people that were probably not wrestling fans and they probably wouldn't order Wrestlemania but I bet seeing on an E! type show or TMZ show would get a decent word of mouth going...more than hearing that Hogan is on Bubba the Love Sponge basically begging to get a pay day from Vince Richmond, VA is not even going to get the damn movie. So how good can it be? Richmond's not getting the movie because, as far as Richmond is concerned, there is only one wrestler called Mickie.

I look forward to seeing how many different people end RAW by pointing to the WrestleMania sign like they did last year. So...so...lame. Yeah, we know...you're going there.
