I thought "black friday" in shopping terms meant it was such a dark day for humanity, with the worst in people coming out, people getting trampled and killed for merchandise, etc. That's how I see that God-forsaken day, anyway. Huh. I call them "Fun Days" for all the reasons you just listed. BTW, I sit at home and laugh at the crowds, for the majority of my shopping is done before Thanksgiving anwyay. Do note that the E's very good at those "huge waste of time" things...

Anyone else think these cuts are more on the corporate end than they are on the talent side of things?
I expect maybe two or three members of the roster to be cut at most.

I really hope Burchill & Goldman survive the cut.
No way is Funaki getting fired. Best friends with HBK and Stone Cold, plus a reliable worker for the rookies to go against.

That was already talked about on the second page I think, about how the 10% of the company cuts are for the Corporate Office, BUT that talent is also being cut down.

I really hope Burchill & Goldman survive the cut. Me too. I hope Katie Lea survives the axe too as I think that the move to ECW has been a good one. I don't see Candice being let go, despite the rumors. I think some guys we haven't seen in a while or aren't used that much might be the first to go.

The SuperBowl is coming up so that means WWE will want to get any publicity they can off of GoDaddy.com and Candice's ad's. Those are the probable reason why she hasn't been seen lately.

I think Candice is more likely to head to ECW than to be released - plus she's doing the same tapings as RAW anyway, so it's not that much of a move.

Yeah, while I think the majority of the cuts will be more office jobs than anything, I won't be surprised to see some talent go as well.

She was on Raw like.. two weeks ago. If Tiffany gets released, I'll be disheartened

Wait, when has the WWE gotten any publicity off of the Godaddy ads? The only reason I knew of last year's commercial was because I was (sadly) watching the Pats get pwned by the Giants - and that was the ONLY time I ever saw that commercial, anywhere.

If they unload half the Divas they are paying, I'm not sure most of this board would even notice. I'm not even sure most of the WWE Employees would even notice. You wouldn't hear me complain if they got rid of Tiffany, whoever the snork she is. I would

I would think they would wait to release talent until SmackDown is over in the US.

D-Lo Brown and Bam Neely are both gone according to WWE.com
Can't say I care a lot about Bam but I am bummed about D-Lo. Poor guy never really got much of a chance, I think.
