WWE.com can actually confirm it, for what it's worth.

The WWE Universe fourms people are pretty pissed. D'lo was OVER on those fourms, and even had a thread with over 2200 pages.
And man, all the Attitude Era reminents are leaving.

Val's release is up there with Scotty's a while back. Kind of stunning.

Yes it is Bob. Click on the link.
Someone should modify HartvsSasso's (or SassovsHart) original thread to keep a running tally on the first page of who is released.

This thread kind of bugs me. Number 1, it's never cool when someone loses their job. Number 2, all of this guessing is nothing but bad karma for the people mentioned. If there was the possibility of you losing your job, would you want people forming a betting or guessing pool over who gets fired or let go? Yeah, I agree. Especially with the economy being the way it is.

Damn, I thought Val had a job for life. Still, if he was smart with his money, I'm sure he'll be ok.

What the hell was the point of bringing D'Lo back if they weren't gonna do ANYTHING with him?

Funaki must be hiding under a catering table scared out of his mind right now. lol
Seriously who the hell do they expect to use on WWE Superstars if they fire guys like Val?
It is kind of odd that they released Val Venis. Seriously the guy was always over and they just never pushed him except for when he still had long hair and little after he had short hair. he really jumped the shark when they put him in the RTC group which was stupid. he would have been a solid rival to that group.

Yeah Val could probably retire if he wants to. dude has been in WWE nonstop for over ten years now and I believe as a Canadian he lives in the Bahamas so he doesn't have to pay taxes. ;D Val is very libertarian.

A bit surprised Val Venis got released. I honestly thought he was going to be a WWE-lifer and would always have a job there. Guess it just goes to show you that you better make sure you pull your weight and how replaceable everyone is.
That sucks about D'lo Brown. Guy gets in great shape to make his big return and WWE does nothing with him. He wasn't given a fair shot to get over.
Bam Neely.....was boring....couldn't wrestle.....had a lame look. Not a loss at all.
As for the refs....thats kinda sad about the 20+ year employee just because he's been around so long. The refs don't make much of a difference to me....they are there to not be noticed.
