Yeah, the end of that article was terribly biased. I've only seen a little of him, but he's not that bad.

I'd much prefer if they revealed Matt Hardy as the guy who's been attacking Jeff, and turn him heel in a jealous brother storyline.

Always thought he was pretty good in the ring. He is "green" as far as actual experience, but I've seen a lot worse matches from verterans.
I do however think it's WAAAAAAAY too soon even for an ECW belt. He's been in the E barely 8 months.
I hope Matt isn't going heel, I want to see him a little more smug and cocky, but turning him heel right now is only to promote Jeff which I think is a huge slight to Matt for the solid work he's put in. However it may very well be a return of E&C and The Hardy Boys which, honestly, will be fun for a week or too then been rehash city.
They're all mainevent solo caliber guys now, being in thier former tag teams dimishes the work put into them by themselves and the WWE.

Well, I guess that's good he's going to be used in a prominent role.
But, Swagger being green and big.....I disagree on both. He's not all that big and from what I have seen of him on ECW, he's pretty decent in the ring. I mean, he's green when compared to Matt Hardy....but that's because Matt is older and been around alot longer.

Screw the article writer, Swaggerownage needs to catch on a lot faster
Speaking of which, I honestly don't give a snork what they do with Matt in the coming months, what excites me is Swagger being ECW champ, which is rather amazifying

I don't mark for him like others do, but I agree that he doesn't suck.

"terrible on the mic" is pretty unfair I think. He's portrayed the arrogant jock quite well so far and will get better. In-ring is fine as far as I can see.

Swagger winning the title actually makes me wanna watch ECW tonight, something I haven't really did in around a year.
If ECW drops all the older guys and develops angles and storylines with the new guys this would bring in ratings for sure I think. Also, having titles change hands on free tv would work too!
Keep Hardy away, but also take Henry and Finlay as well. Have more then 3 guys on tv every week (DJ, Swagger, Ortiz) and give them something that has a chance of getting them over!

To be fair, it's been around 8-9 years since they last had a tag match. There is a whole new group of fans out there that have not seen them square off.

I haven't quite gone a year without watching ECW, but the last time I watched regularly was probably before Bourne was injured. I like Matt Hardy, but he should be on SD or RAW in hot angles, like this Jeff one. ECW will be more interesting to me with Swagger as champion, purely from a curiosity point of view.

Anyone think WWE may be pullin' the old switch-a-roo on us, having Matt side with Edge and Christian return to help Jeff?

Anyone think WWE may be pullin' the old switch-a-roo on us, having Matt side with Edge and Christian return to help Jeff? That would be an interesting twist, but I think it would make more sense to have Edge and Jeff team up against Matt and Christian. Since both Edge and Jeff have had more success than Matt and Christian.

I'd much prefer if they revealed Matt Hardy as the guy who's been attacking Jeff, and turn him heel in a jealous brother storyline. This is what I have been hoping for, both he and Christian to be in cahoots with each other jealous of there brothers' success (Edge kayfabe) and Jeff It could turn Edge face while having two new big heels on SD

I would not be surprised to see the Main Event on the PPV prior to Wrestlemania be The Hardyz vs Edge and Christian. Plus, I'm still of the mindset we need another Matt/Edge feud. I still feel slightly jipped from that feud that Matt never even got a slight upper hand despite being so super over.
