From what I have played Street Fighter hands down. The 16 bit era especially the SNES games are among my favorite.
On a side note the Final Fight games were pretty awful graphics were decent but game play and levels sucked. Especially the second one and the boss were pretty lame. No rival to Streets Of Rage series for Genesis that's for sure.

No love for Viewtiful Joe? Sure, the spinoffs sucked but the first two games were some of the best Capcom's made in years.

Sengoku Basara.
Yeah, Sengoku Basara Cross was an abomination and not very good, but Sengoku Basara 1 (NOT the weird Devil Kings re-imagining) and Sengoku Basara 2 were some of the most fun I had on the PS2.

Man, if I actually imported games (And could go through the trouble to mod my PS2), this would definitely be my answer. Sengoku Basara is an AWESOME series. They take the good from Dynasty/Samurai Warriors and cut out the bad. (Namely, your retarded allies that die in 3 seconds)

I LOVE Resident Evil to bits, but Street Fighter wins for me.
The memories I have of that game.

As much as I wanted to vote for Mega Man and Street Fighter I just couldn't do it. I absolutely love Marvel vs. Capcom 2! I still play it on the Dreamcast every once in a while.

Capcom is easily one of my all time favorite game companies and I love every one of their games. But if I have to pick one it would be Street Fighter, to be in particular the Street Fighter 3 series.
Now listen here son, nothing I mean NOTHING beats the Street Fighter 3 series!! NOTHING!!
