Is there a one strike policy? Like one strike and you"re banned? If what someone does is bad enough enough you can be banned on the first strike but that is rare. We go for three strikes and even then we might give people a break. We're really not fans of banning people unless they're complete asshats or show they just cannot be bothered to follow the rules.

Sorry, I meant for like mod stuff. Just curious because a forum I come from has a strict warning policy and no matter how long ago or minor it was, you get a warning and you can never be a mod or anything. Just curious if that applied to here is all. And I reiterate that I'm just wondering because they made it so clear there lol.

If someone breaks them a lot or gets two for flaming it won't happen but making one small mistake I don't see being held against someone.

Why do some posters have trophies? Is it from a forum game or something?

Is there a reason why transphobic slurs aren't filtered? Given that we still seem to have members who don't see why they're a bad thing...

For the same reason why so many slurs aren't filtered here. One) Filters in general we want kept at a bare minimum. Two) Anyone without the tact to not use certain words can be easily identified. Not saying anyone who uses any certain word is automatically guilty of some offense, context is of course key in any situation, but still it makes noticing the riff raff easier.

My belief has always been filters could make people think they're allowed to use words as long as they're edited down. We prefer the words not be used at all, filtered or not.

Hey guys. I'm a new member here and I wanted to know how I can put an image in my signature, if possible. I tried finding out how to markup an image by using one in a post but it didn't show me any.
Do I just do [*img*](image link)[/*img*] with the *'s removed?

Something that I've been wondering for a while...
I know we can't post more than two pics or gifs because of people that use 56K dial up connections. But I can't help but to think, "Come on, man. It's 2015. If you're still using 56K dial-up, that's your problem. It's time to get with the times." Are there really that many people in the States who still use 56K? Or do people still use it overseas? I would think that with the inernet being so readily available: WiFi internet on tablets and cell phones, cable internet coming with most cable packages, and being able to get on the net on game consoles, that most people would have moved past dial-up by now.

( I use myself as an example here, but the point stands that not everyone has a fast broadband connection.)

Any possibility of FAN ever getting a full-on MMA forum. It seems like it's one of the most active topics in (w)rest and may even grow if it's distinguished from that section.
Failing that what about splitting Off Topic and having a Sports forum then leaving the rest of Off Topic as is?
I know that TNA forum has to get replaced at some point lol.

In dealing with the TNA stuff, we've been tossing around a lot of ideas including a dedicated sports board that I believe MMA would move to. I don't know that MMA by itself warrants its own section right now but that is just my personal opinion. Part of the slow down in (w)rest has stemmed from GFW and ROH basically ending up in the TNA section because of how entwined they are. We have discussed making some changes concerning the content of the boards based on that but we just aren't sold on making what would be some pretty major changes yet.

Hello, Mods. I have a question/issue regarding this post of mine: officialfan.proboards.com/post/11872860I meant to simply post a link to an instragram video (not from an official WWE account), but the board automatically embeds it to the post. I didn't mean to actually embed the video. Is there a way to just post a link to it? I didn't know if it was something that should be embedded here. Edit: Just to be safe, I broke the link up in the post.

Proboards auto-embeds links like that there is no way to change it.
So yeah, leave it broken.
