I don't remember, is there a specific rule about the number of embedded videos per post?

I'd say go with two. I mean I have a pretty good internet connection and when I open a thread with 15-16 replies with videos, 3-5 in each, I may as well shoot my connection in the face. I can imagine how bad it is for others. It's OK to just link sometimes.

officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rulesJust going to leave this here. It seems like some have forgotten we got a Rules section. Its fun, informative and oh so easy! Besides, you don't want to end up... ...on the wrong side of the law, eh?

I'll go ahead and field the question that's about to be asked:
Yes, we added mods.

I have a question.
I saw in the rules that there's no discussion of alcohol, unless involved in a wrestling storyline.
I was going to make a thread about the "Most Interesting Man in the world" commercials for Dos Equis beer, and some of the supposed feats he has "accomplished".
The only mention of the beer is at the end of the commercials, while the rest of the commercials are about these feats.
Yay or nay?

Personally I'd say "nay" on the beer commercials. While the commercials may not necessarily be promoting the beer, the discussion afterwards MIGHT lead to it. It'd be safer not to do it at all.
EDIT: might lead to any discussion of beer, not necessarily to promote it.

Is it all right to mention anything (or start a topic) about Bill & Doug (RVDTito4Life)?

Is it all right to mention anything (or start a topic) about Bill & Doug (RVDTito4Life)? Is he a youtube shooter? If so, then no, a topic regarding that is not allowed.

I have a question about signatures.
I was reading a post by HadesGigas, and noticed his sig, which included an image, I believe, of a combined image of Samoa Joe and Umaga called Joemaga.
When I hit refresh to see if anyone else had posted, I noticed that the image in his sig changed. I thought maybe he changed it while I was refreshing, but then it changed again the next time I clicked refresh.
How do you get a sig to do that?

It's a certain image hosting website whose name escapes me that can do that for you.

Here's a question, is it really necessary to have a Appreciation/Depreciation for a bunch of things going on? Isn't a forum supposed to be a place where everyone can have their opinions and discuss them? differing or not. So wouldn't just the one thread about a subject be enough?
I don't buy the whole "It's to stop people from flaming" thing i read earlier, I bet you dollars to donuts that if a thread is devoted to only "appreciation" or "depreciation" people will seek it out to flamebait. Now that would probably happen if there was just the one thread where both opinions were voiced, but my bet is, not as often.
and if nothing else, it saves over 9000 threads cluttering up the forum.
But whatever, 'tis a minor gripe, that is all.

But whatever, 'tis a minor gripe, that is all. There's enough threads where people discuss and debate things around here. When someone starts something specifically to appreciate whatever it is that they're talking about then it's a real drag to have people come in specifically just to say "you're wrong, it sucks/sucked" And yes, it does stop people from flaming because when someone does go in there specifically to flame and/or bait then they will not be posting here much longer and thus the flaming will stop. If anything an appreciation thread is more necessary than a depreciation thread that just serves to be nothing but negative and drag everything down. In fact if someone started a depreciation thread after an appreciation thread had already started that would seem like they were just going out of there way to be negative any way possible. But all that aside, even if there are 2 threads, a pro and con about a subject, that's hardly cluttering the board. I would say the countless other threads that are started about a tiny aspect of one thing clutter the board moreso (example: How will Batista be different as a heel?, Batista as a heel? Good or bad?, Who will Batista feud with now that he's a heel? and so on and so forth)

Also, just for a quick refrence for anyone wondering. The sig size limit is 800x600, and that means the limit for each of those dimensions. Just flipping it to 600x800 won't work because the height then exceeds the max height.

This may be a dumb question, but I figured I'd ask it here anyway.
I had a gimmick idea for a wrestler who was released a while ago on the off chance he'd ever come back to WWE.
Would it be appropriate to put it in WWE Current? The wrestler I'm referring to was only released within the last year.

WWE current is fine, since it's about a wrestler who you think might come back to WWE, and he was only released within the year.

Some of you may have noticed that the "Rules of the House" thread has been updated. None of the rules have really been changed (two have been added to), just reworded and made easier to read.
The only ones that have been altered at all are the 'Rick-rolling' and 'Spoilers' rules. In essence, you can't use the Spoiler tag to rick roll people or mislead them. For example, making a thread entitled "SMACKDOWN SPOILER!!!" and in the first post you mention a major change in WWE, then using the spoiler code you insert an animated gif of Randy Orton pressing a button and it blowing up Vince's limo.
The "Spoilers" rule has been updated with directions on when & how to use the Spoiler code.
Oh, I didn't make it an announcement since we have so many at the moment. Didn't want to clutter things - if there are many questions about it, I'll announce it.
I also forgot that now the dimensions for the signature pics are clearly defined.

So I've been checking around the alternate skins you guys set up. I hate to look a gift "free skin color change for a message board" in the mouth, but is there a possibility we will ever get any other ones?
Also, thanks to whoever did it. I think they're neat-o-keen!
