Went ahead and pre-ordered Street Fighter IV. I kind of want one of those arcade pads...but not for 80 dollahs.

For those who want to know: Several Gamestops have The Lost and Damned expansion pack for sale right now for $20 (or 1600 MS Points). However, you can't activate it until the 17th, when the expansion will be ready on the 360.

So I got my HD tele yesterday and Fallout 3, Gears 2, Left For Dead all look fantastic but GTA4 looks blocky as hell. I don't know if it's my settings but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as those other games.

^That's probably it, still fiddling with the settings. Just for any one interested in HDMI, I got a HDMI cable for £4 and it works just as well as the £30 official xbox hdmi cable.
Probably be playing some Left 4 Dead tonight if anyone's interested. Oh I've heard the downloadable content is gonna be free, can anyone confirm this? Cause that would be awesome seeing how the actual game is pretty lacking in features.

if for nothing else to finally have a decent radio station. I never understood exactly what was wrong with the radio stations in GTA IV, except maybe for the short playlists and the lack of Dead Kennedys on the hardcore punk station.

Yeah, they had a really odd selection of music. They had some big names on the classic rock station and chose unknown songs like "Fascination" and "One Vision"
I gotta say I marked the f*** out for "Heaven and Hell"

Well, I say "decent" as in... decent for me. I basically channel flip the entire time I'm driving as it is, since nothing holds my attention. The Hardcore channel is the closest.. but I've never been too big on hardcore so even that makes me flip past.
But, with "Dead Embronic Cells" playing for the trailer of Lost and Damned, I have real hope that it'll be remedied.

The GTA SA radio stations were great. The GTA VC radio stations were great. Hell, I loved listening to Chatterbox (or whatever it was) on GTA 3... back when Lazlo wasn't so lame.
GTA 4's radio stations weren't as cool. There may be a few decent songs, but all in all, it was pretty disappointing.

I think Vice City has the best soundtrack overall, but the single greatest playlist of any GTA radio station ever has to be V-Rock in Vice City Stories... too bad the game was average at best:
* Dio – "Holy Diver" * Queensrÿche – "Queen of the Reich" * Kiss – "Lick It Up" * Dokken – "Breaking the Chains" * Autograph – "All I'm Gonna Take" * Accept – "Balls to the Wall" * Scorpions – "Rock You Like a Hurricane" * Krokus – "Long Stick Goes Boom" * Ted Nugent – "Stranglehold" * Ratt – "Round and Round" * Judas Priest – "Electric Eye" * Mötley Crüe – "Looks That Kill" * Quiet Riot – "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)"
Of course, those of you not as fond of cheesy 80's hair metal as myself might disagree, but all I have to say is "BANG YOUR HEAD".

Woah, really? I thought the original VC's V-Rock soundtrack was pretty awesome, but that would definitely rival it. And this is all on the PSP version?

Yes, as far as I know. I only had the PS2 version myself, but the music selection appears to be the same in both versions.

Anyone plannin' on getting "The Lost and Damned" ........You bastard. Isn't it enough that Street Fighter IV and some other games will come out soon, but now we have Lost and The Damned, and you are shilling it like a crack pipe to an unwed mother?! We are in recession, dammit! Nay, i say! I say nay to you and your pushing ways!
