Yeah, but they would probably want to get paid...and that's just a big hassle you know? Easy way to fix that. Just promise them a role in your next film(be nice, give them a supporting cast role, or if they are a good enough actress, a leading role) and promise to pay them a small portion of the profit of the movie.

First off, I'm stating now, that if you feel the need to come in here and say how stupid you think twitter is, then don't bother posting. IF you do, you can enjoy a nice one day timeout for your troubles. Don't say I didn't warn you. Anyway, yes, I decided to try twitter again and wanted to know who else from the crap is there also. I plan on using this (as I do other social networking sites) to promote my upcoming film. www.twitter.com/realdanlashleyI'm following you now. *FOLLOOOOOOOOOOW*

I'm not even gonna come in here and talk crap about twitter, but the truth is I don't really understand it.
Is there a community surrounding twitter? What is the point of it?
Like, Kash, for example. What do you get from twitter that you don't get from facebook, and what not.
I might try it out, but I just don't see why people are doing it yet.
For people that ARE on twitter, what excites you about the website? I'm legitimately curious.

For people that ARE on twitter, what excites you about the website? I'm legitimately curious. I'll try my best to answer that. Basically, the great thing about Twitter is that it's instant. People can find out different things straight away rather then wait for it. For example, I'm following a few news outlets. When their news breaks, they send it on Twitter. Same goes for the dozens of other people on there. So Kash can send updates about his film to the community when he knows it, by his phone or on his computer so that the people looking forward to his film can know to the T what is going on. What makes this different from Facebook? No pointless apps, no gimmicks and no accessories. Which is why you see people like Stephen Fry and Warren Ellis use Twitter rather then FB/MySpace etc. It also makes it friendlier to people who have never used a social networking site before in that it is the absolute bare minimum. And yet, in a way, it's much more useful. Hope that helps a bit.

Yeah, what eJm said. There are people on twitter that aren't on myspace or facebook that I can reach, so it comes in handy.

So I could tweet with you and Data? I should get on this thing, though I probably shouldn't join another social networking site given all the time I waste on them (plus time I waste spend wisely here) Seriously, dude, we both know that tweeting with Lore would be far more interesting. Or the mentally-challenged retconned brother from Nemesis. I like the idea of an android tweeting "sometimes when its cold I wear mittens."
