Some of the most successful people in history have been strong advocates of napping Napolean, Einstien, Twain all fans of a good nap. Now if they napped because they were successful or were successful because they napped is the question.
When I was in media tech we did a newscast for the school cable channel and one of the stories I did was about a guy who advocated naps, his thoughts on the subjest were "I'm just doing what I got to do, to do what I got to do" which has remained one of my favorite quotes.

Yeah, but Da Vinci was for getting less sleep. I guess the less he slept, the more time he had to drum up ideas for inventions. He had a that weird polyphasic sleep. So I guess it's different for everyone.
