First, I have to ask... The poster shows the Leatherface in the remake... The trailer is the original version... Which one am I voting for here? Cuz that's gonna affect my vote. I'd guess it's the Leatherface character as a whole. Hmm... I'm not sure I can bring myself to support anything that involves the remake... Not in any form. Even if it's just an unfortunate association. It was that bad. Go, Maddy, I guess!

If Leatherface loses this, I riot. In the privacy of my own home.

Yes, it's the Leatherface character a whole, since more or less it is the same character.

Eh, to be fair, Leatherface stopped being scary before Bay got his hands on it. New Generation anyone?

Ray Harryhausen-created villains >>>>>>> real-life low-budget slasher villains.
I mean, seriously. That still image in the original post of Medusa is 100 times creepier and scarier than Leatherface, Jason and Freddy combined.

Yes, it's the Leatherface character a whole, since more or less it is the same character. There was a time when Leatherface was scary... But then Michael Bay produced another movie... Bay killed the character off at the end of the first remake. I almost wanted to choke the hell out of him AND Nispel, when they sat there and talked about how, prior to deciding to do TCM: THE BEGINNING, there was "only one way to go, and that was back, to look at how this character of Leatherface came to be..." *Deep breath* Yeah, no CRAP, genius. There was only one way to go because you CRIPPLED him at the end of your first film, and had Jessica Biel OWN him like he was a little girl. THEN you two brain surgeons decide to "look at how the character came to be" in the stupidest, most unimaginative way possible...and then devote HALF of Leatherface's f***ing ORIGIN movie to Sherrif Hoyt. That would be like the upcoming WOLVERINE: ORIGINS devoting fully HALF of its running time to the origins of The Blob. No one CARES about the f***ing Blob! They came to see Wolverine tear stuff up and claw the f*** out of anything that moves! Same goes for the origin of Leatherface. I bought a ticket to see 'Face carving up some people with his chainsaw, and to see how the hell he got so messed up in the head, since THAT's what I was told I was getting. Instead, I got a quick opening credits montage of Leatherface, and then most of the rest of the film consisted of R. Lee Ermey scratching himself, cursing, and spitting chew. f*** YOU, Platinum Dunes! /rant. And I will say that I voted for Leatherface because, much as TR loves him some Jason, Leatherface always has been my favorite slasher. I could no more vote against him in this poll than I could stop breathing.

Actually i could care less about Wolverine. Give me Blob & Pyro! Oh I agree, give me a Brotherhood of Evil Mutants movie over another entry into the "Overexposed Cash Cow" franchise. But for the sake of argument, it made sense, because the film is supposed to be about Wolverine's origin, much like TCM:THE BEGINNING was supposed to be Leatherface's.

Yeah, and I think that Marvel might know that people are going strictly to see Gambit and Deadpool. Hence their complete obliteration of DP's character, and the minimization of Gambit's role. Cannot have anything threaten the "main event" status of the Furry Cash Cow, now can they?
*Begins official "Deadpool: Held Down by Marvel's Glass Cieling" campaign*

Granted, if Marvel ever gets the film rights back for the X-Men franchise, its a safe bet they're gonna throw Wolverine EVERYWHERE: Star of the X-Men, Avengers, and any other franchise they feel like making. But Marvel doesn't seem all that keen on completely butchering their own characters on film...so far, at least.
