Me too, but this look is NOT kid friendly. Snork the kids!!!!!!!!! Thats the Emma Frost I grew up on pretty much and the only one thats acceptable As an aside, and maybe Madison or one of the other comic gurus can answer this: WAS it a man who came up with that character design? It almost HAS to be, because only a MAN would think an outfit like that suitable for fighting crime, right? "I know...she can wear a corset and a thong! The greatest costume ever! Who cares about the fact that 95% of her body is exposed...if they don't shoot her in the hoo-hah or in the boobs, she's perfectly safe! GENIUS!" ;D

She only wore that as the Hellfire club member didn't she?
Every time I see her with the X-men It's either trousers or shorts (Or nothing at all with Cycke (The lucky bastard).

My thoughts as well. When Emma isn't wearing her outifts from the comics it makes me a sad panda. I'm not saying the costumes would work in real life.. I'm just a huge fan of cleavage. Me too, but this look is NOT kid friendly. Yes, because an angry canadian slashing helicopters out of the sky and diesembowling wave after wave of soldier is VERY kid friendly. Smartass eyes I choose YOU:

Heh, it's not that they're raping a literature masterpiece with a crappy movie...
Both comic and movie industry will easily survive a mediocre paper-to-silver screen rendition

I see no blood, guts, dicks and asses flying around like we're inside some demented Cuisinart. It's all VERY "PG" rated carnage, if you can swallow THAT oxymoron.

I'll still be seeing it. I for one enjoyed the movie quite a bit (minus Deadpool), so I'll probably go check it out in theaters.

Just to piss you off Seriously though, it's not about my anti-comic bias (it's not anti-comic... I just don't care and don't get all the fuss about it...), it's about exaggeration. Considering Hollywood's current sorry state, a mediocre movie is par for the course, especially if it's an adaptation of something not born as movie material. Reading about people being "disheartened" (or mad, or outraged) by a comic-book movie sounds funny to me. And I would have said the same had it been a movie about something I like... Take "Driven"... I love motorsport, but I wasn't mad about that movie being bad, even though it was more a "it's so bad it's funny" movie. I wasn't expecting it to be a new Casablanca, as it wasn't supposed to be that. So, that X-men movie was meant to be a mindless action movie... getting all riled up about it is something I don't get. Sorry for interrupting, carry on...

If you're watching the leak you're a dick anyway as far as I'm concerned. Go see the damn movie that these people worked hard to make. If you come out not liking it then hey, chalk it up to experience. If nobody every did anything they thought they might not like, we'd all be boring as hell.

So, that X-men movie was meant to be a mindless action movie... getting all riled up about it is something I don't get. Because the comics, the previous X-Men films, The Dark Knight, Watchment and so many other things showed this doesn't HAVE to be mindless action, and so people now expect better. Iron Man was action, but was at least witty, and therefore smart, fer chrissakes.

Sorry for interrupting, carry on... well while some of that is true loki, the thing that gets me is that they (fox) said that the workprint was missing footage that was filmed later, yet this report is contradicting that statement. I wasn't expecting anything mind blowing, but I'm disheartened to hear that they flat out lied (allegedly) to everyone concerning the leaked footage.
