YEAH! One loss = INSTA JOBBER Well, not necessarily, but I am saying it could be a bad sign. I mean I think Christian should of been pushed beyond ECW anyway, but with a job so quick, especially with a guy who was build for so long as having an unpinned, unsubmitted streak, it is unquestionably a cause for concern. That was in TNA, not WWE, What TNA did with him doesn't matter to them.. They weren't going to give Christian a unpinned, unsubmitted streak just because TNA did. It not like Christian lost to somebody like BoogieMan, Swagger is a possible future main eventer in WWE eyes.

While Christian losing doesn't mean he's a jobber, it does mean the old tired formula of "challenger beats Champ a few times, but loses to the champ when the title is on the line" is still kicking around.

Braden Walker now has a better winning percentage than Christian in ECW.

* Tyson Kidd defeated Joe B Roni after hitting Roni with his elbow drop. Best jobber name ever? Too bad it wasn't Mac A. Roni.

I think that Christian will be in the MITB match at Mania.
And Dreamer vs Swagger with interference from Burchill, Finlay and Boogeyman will be your ECW title match possibly under extreme rules.

WM 27 Main Event: Joe B. Roni vs. Bao Nguyen for the World Heavyweight Championship. ;D

Meh it was no surprise that Christian was going to lose. I'm more surprised he lost cleanly. I'm more suprised that they had the title match this soon. I know ECW is the red-headed stepchild of WWE but still, why not build to a PPV match instead?

Wow. I fully expected Christian/Swagger at Mania. I guess they're going for Dreamer/Swagger instead.
Having Christian lose clean so soon after his return doesn't give me all that much hope for where they're going to go with him. I never bought into the whole "OMG CHRISTIAN IZ MAIN EVENTING" thing that some on this board seem to have, but even I thought he'd be the one to at least carry ECW. Having him lose to Swagger so early makes me believe he's not even going to get that much.
That said, given the whole Dreamer "retire if I'm not champ" thing they've got going on, Dreamer/Swagger at Mania does make more sense than Christian/Swagger. While Christian/Swagger would have been a better match (with a less predictable outcome), Dreamer/Swagger does tell a better story (even if the ending is so predictable that Hellen Keller could see it coming.)
Christian is likely going to end up in MITB. And it actually might even be better for him. MITB is considered by many to be more important than the ECW title anyway. I'm not predicting he'll win it, but he'll get more exposure.
I've always said (and will continue to say) that his TNA run will have exactly ZERO bearing on how he's booked in WWE. In fact, given Vince's pettiness with guys who made a name (or in Christian's case, enhanced their name) for themselves elsewhere, it might actually work against him. If Christian isn't in MITB at all, then I fully expect him to be treated as "random insignificant midcarder #632".

So...
Christian defeated TWICE in a row tha undefeated Swagger, and that was more than fine (despite the Champion losing cleanly back-to-back). But if the Champ gets one back, we're already crying foul and going for "OMG THEY BERRIED CHRISTIAN ALREADY!11!!!"
Gimme a break.
P.S. Joe B. Roni should be the next ECW Champion

From Instant Classic to Instant Jobber in 3 weeks. Unfortunately. I hope this isn't a sign of the things to follow, but it looks that way. One loss and the IWC cry foul? Its called building the face to go on to Mania to thrash Mr Lisp for the title

Well, the title's hardly going to change hands on tv, is it? If Christian wins it, it'll be on ppv, so not surprising that he lost.
