Well no excretory matter, but YOU DON'T ACT LIKE THAT. It's called two wrongs don't make a right. Jericho is a snorking moron just as much as the person who started it. So I pound on your car and grab you You should just stand there and take it right? I guess that's just the difference between you and Jericho (And most men) In order for the fan to "grab" Jericho, Jericho would have had to have...GOTTEN OUT OF THE CAR. I'm saying...let the moron wear his hands out by slapping the car. If he STAYED IN THE CAR or at LEAST rolled down the window a shade, he could have avoided this whole mess. Jericho did NOT have to get out of the car.

I'll bet if it was Batista, this board would be calling for him to be fired/sent to prison. Cliche post, but I gotta agree.

Okay he overreacted that is true. But if you are surrounded by 50 plus fans that hate you and they keep attacking you, eventually you are going to get into a mode where you just swing at everything coming at you. Obviously these fans are a bunch of stupid rednecks anyways. The guy busts his ass to entertain you and they try to attack him. I hate John Cena, but I know he is just doing his job. I'll boo him in arena, but in public I would just leave him alone, because he would kill me, and I don't start fights. Heck I have to give Jericho some love here. I have been in altercations at bars(because of my stupid friends hitting on other people's girlfriends) where a-holes are threatening to shoot me when I have 3 friends with me, they have 16 who are bigger than all of us. He fought off all these jerks with his bare hands, my hat goes off to him. Screw them, they came after him. It's like the worthless pieces of garbage that break into houses and sue the owners because they fell down their stairs, or got their asses whooped. These people obviously knew what they were getting into, they don't deserve a damn thing. If you pick a fight with the biggest, meanest guy at the bar you will probably get beat up.

Okay, I'm sold. He's in the wrong. HOW is he in the wrong? People came up and were giving him crap. Then one of them actually grabs on him as he's getting into his car. Man or woman, they should expect an uppercut trying to do something like that in this situation. As I explained above, if he just turned around and decked her, I can excuse that in the heat of the moment. But instead of just getting in his car and driving off, he then goes on the offensive. That is where he crossed the line. Self Defense is Self Defense. Its not a free ticket to kick everyone around you's ass.

Okay, I'm sold. He's in the wrong. Are you serious here? I just know that I was in that situation, and someone that I couldn't see grabbed me, I would throw a punch also. Also, what the f*** was security doing during the entire thing? Sitting to the side?

I'll bet if it was Batista, this board would be calling for him to be fired/sent to prison. Serious: I would react exactly as I think here: he was provoked, he defended himself. Lost his cool a little bit, but come on! People were practically jumping on him! Joke: He would punch them, do the machine ggun taunt, and shake his car

Man or woman, they should expect an uppercut trying to do something like that in this situation. Jericho was already in his car. There were security people in front of him. He should have stayed in the car and tell the security, WHO WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, to move them the f*** away. All he did was instigate things even worse. YOU DON'T DO THAT.

Joke: He would punch them, do the machine ggun taunt, and shake his car man... i'd mark for someone to ask him from a distance for an autograph, he gives them a thumbs up and walks over to them then when he gets close gives them a thumbs down like he used to then continues walking laughing

If this happened to your mother, father, son, daughter...... Believe me, you would think what Jericho did was absolutely fine.
Those fans were complete idiots. They deserved it and I'm sure any Judge would see that

That is where he crossed the line. Self Defense is Self Defense. Its not a free ticket to kick everyone around you's ass. Once a person goes into survival mode, what they should do goes out the window. A man sees an angry mob of people, one of which just grabbed him, and more start to come at him. I'm taking them down before they take me down. Being a "professional" in this situation is something a lot of people can say, but when crunch time comes, it's the last thing on their minds. "Do the right thing, which could cost you your ass" or "Don't get killed out here." I wonder which Jericho was thinking...

Well I'm shocked this hasn't hit the news as WWE always count as real sport when something bad happens (Benoit). Of course this isn't nearly as bad as that but, I think you get what I'm saying.

Umm guys, she grabs his back, and he turns around and absolutely DECKS a woman. To be fair, he might not have known it was a woman at the time, as he had his back turned as he was getting in the car. He probably just felt some one grabbing him, assumed it was a threat and acted on instinct to protect himself.

Umm guys, she grabs his back, and he turns around and absolutely DECKS a woman. Now I might be willing to excuse that (even though I find the idea that he hit a woman despicable) if he just got in his car and sped off from there, but instead he starts taking out everyone. He clearly crossed the line, and is likely to get some serious backlash for this. Someone bangs on his car, closes the door on him, people start touching him, crowding him, screaming at him, etc. I know you'll never be in that situation, but if you actually imagined yourself in it, I think you'd be less likely to get sanctimonious about it. "OH SNAP, he decked a girl? that changes everything!" <3 Double standards. "HE GOT OUT OF THE CAR" arguments can be met with "they touched his property." Nothing ok about it. Fault of: 1. The security 2. The crowd 3. No one else About 85% #1.

Stupid and liable are two different things. I didn't say it was smart for Jericho to get out of the car. I said he wouldn't be found liable for "getting out of the car when he didn't have to".
