My friend has Reel Big Fish's pick. We almost got the setlist but the girl next to us nabbed it first and vanished into the crowd.

I had one from CJ from the Wildhearts, but I lost it. I've got three Machine Head ones, direct from a roadie. Two of them are for display, but since I lost my favourite pick, I've been playing with one of them. My brother's got one from Snake (Skid Row) and one from Jerry Cantrell, so they're pretty awesome. You should see our drumstick collection.

Cool story. When I was in 6th grade (16 years ago), our music teacher decided to do a project that involved writing letters to our favorite musicians. She had a giant list of addresses and everyone wrote letters to at least 5 artisits. One of my choices was Pearl Jam. A few weeks later I got to class and my music teacher handed me an envelope that was sent to the school but addressed to me. Inside were a bunch of 8/10 autographed pictures and about 15 guitar picks. Nobody else got any response at all. So, I never got any picks at a concert, but a band was cool enough to send me some when I was a kid.

i got a pick at my very first gig. unfortunately it was from green day's warm up band at the time called D-Generation, and their claim to fame was that they wrote the song at the end of airheads.

3 different from Everclear at 3 diff. shows (Art, Greg and Davey) one from Flipp Bobby Dall from Poison Guitarist for the Vince Neil Band JV Bastard from Michale Graves/Mister Monster
And my two most prized... Doyle from the Misfits/Gorgeous Frankenstein (caught one from him, then Gorgeous George handed me another one and also the setlist)
Andy LaRocque, guitarist for King Diamond. It took me almost twenty years to see the King live, so I was glad to snag a cool souvenir from the show.
And while it's not a guitar pic, Jerry Only of the Misfits gave me a cool keepsake. He literally gave me the shirt off his back when I gave him a copy of the Book Of Lists after a show one time.

Its sad.....I've been to probably 40 concerts and the only pick I have is a Nickelback one of the 3 my dad got when I went with my parents.
I do have a Taproot drumstick though. And I caught a water bottle tossed by Godsmacks lead singer. Ya, didnt really care about the bottle.

Oh man I am A big guy and a passionate monster in the pit so I have a small collection with some great stories behind them.
I have a chunk of snow fence that Pigface burst through and that I wore as a cape the rest of the show.
I have three drumsticks, Type O Negative, Dope, and Slayer. I gifted the Dope and Slayer ones too friends who were bigger fans of those bands then I.
I have Pete Steele's set list from Type O.
I had Trent Reznor's water bottle.
I have gotten picks from Fear Factory, Dope three times, Type O, Powerman, Drain, Sevendust, Machinehead, Gravity Kills, Anthrax, Pantera (from Dimebag RIP), and quite a few other bands most of which I ended up gifting too. All told I think I have had at some point or another a little over 20 picks but I think the thrill kind of wore off and I end up just giving them to people who are as thrilled as I was when I got my first.
I got up on stage with Bob Dylan and touched his shiny silver pants before security escorted me off.
The coolest though was actually me giving Chris Randall of Sister Machine Gun a cigarette and smoking with him after a show.

At a local concert, a friend of a friend's band was playing and the guy wrecked one of his drumsticks (split it in half) on the last song and he handed off the drumsticks, I got the good one. Then they decided to do an encore, the Pete & Pete theme song no less, and he found one extra drumstick, so I handed it back over.
I wish I could remember the late 90's/early '00's alternative rock band my friend finished the drummer's beer from. They were doing a show up in State College, and as it was ending, they were passing the beer back to throw it away. My friend said it was still cold, so he downed it.
