Truth is that if L4D didn't have the online multiplayer it would just be terrible. It's one of the few games in existence where it completely needs online to be any good.
Speaking of my live account dies tomorrow, so I need to sell one or more games to get the money to buy atleast another month. Possibly get some extra to get something like a new game or points.
So what should I choose in this Sophie's Choice moment...
Crackdown
Project Gotham Racing 4
Left 4 Dead
or Rock Band w/ Equipment

Well, assuming you're going with credit, you'd get maybe 20 or so for L4D, since it's about 50 dollars still, and GS credits usually are about 30-40 percent of the price. Maybe 6 for Crackdown, 7 for PGR4, and maybe 6 for Rock Band, or a few dollars more if the equipment has a few guitars and such.
So, maybe Rock Band if you got good stuff to sell for it. Maybe Gotham Racing throw in, too, if you want.

Wireless, I would figure more, even though the store I asked didn't have a price. It would be safe to say if it more than wired stuff, though. Edit: I called another, and they said 10 bucks for wireless, and still 4 bucks for a wireless mic (WTF?).

So, I played the NHL 09 demo to get my hockey game fix (it'll take a week or so for 2K9 to be delivered from the UK) and thanks to the awesomeness of Be a Pro and the EA skill stick (and the lure of EASHL), I am going to go and buy this game first thing in the morning (or whatever time I get out of bed tomorrow).
Looks like this whole thing ended up getting kind of expensive after all... oh well, I haven't bought any sports games since NHL 2K3, so I guess buying two hockey games at once (technically) isn't so bad.

NHL 09's Be A Pro career mode has to be the most fun I've ever had playing a hockey game in single player mode, even though I completely suck at goal scoring... it took four matches before I managed to score my first AHL goal with my created player (Marc Deletraz, Switzerland's gift to professional ice hockey and the AHL's undisputed champion of taking unnecessary penalties). At first I tried playing BaP as a goalie, but that didn't go so well.

Right now, I'm downloading the Wolverine demo, along with Dead Space, in case I ever decided to stop being afraid of survival horror games (Thanks a lot, resident Evil 4! Douchebag chainsaw doctor....). I downloaded two demos before, Mirror's Edge and Battle for Suburbia. I think both of those are pretty much worth a rental, except maybe 'Suburbia', since it's pretty much a few buck more to buy it than rent it.
Also, this might seem misogynistic, but why does Faith got to be a woman? Maybe Saints Row 2 and Tony Hawk and the sandbox genre has spoiled me, but why can't I choose character stuff, or at least the gender? And I kinda side with Yathzee, when he says that you don't really have a good reason why the corporation are evil. Heck, even the main character says in the beginning that things were crap before they came in and cleaned the city up. It's almost like Hackers, except there's no Johnny Lee Miller. Where's my goddamn Johnny Lee Miller?!?!?!?!

Back from my long absence, guys. Uni is finally starting to calm down a bit, although I still have some more stuff ahead for the upcoming weeks.
Anyway, I've just been playing Forza 2 again recently, trying to get all the cars. Since my previous save was deleted, I've been forced to start from the beginning, but it's not so bad thanks to the AI driver option (I don't get as much money per race, but at least I can do other stuff in the meantime). I've also been on and off Resident Evil 5 versus mode. I'm actually really good at it, but just haven't been in much of a mood to play it recently.
And also, is it just me or is 2009's release schedule really...light? The only games that seem to interest me at the moment are games that America has had for ages (Tales of Vesperia and Guilty Gear 2 come to mind), and Assassin's Creed 2 and Bioshock 2 aren't due until the end of the year. Oh, and of course, Bayonetta.
Thank god for Xbox Live arcade...
P.S: If anybody want to add my gamertag, feel free to do so, as long as you send me a message so I don't delete you.

So...Wolverine kicks all sorts of ass. Def glad i picked this up today. This game is awesome... and SO.... FREAKING.... VIOLENT. I love it! Plus the developers have said they want to work on a comic-book based Deadpool game! I'm so waiting for that one.

Yeah, i played the demo and it is such kickass. Though, I wonder what shirt Wolverine has, since it regenerates about as much as him. Still, It's such a badass effect when you can almost blow yourself up killing people, appear as a skeleton around your stomach and face, regenerate health, and then see your body slowly grow back to normal. Will probably rent this soon, along with Mirror's Edge.
However, I had a really creepy experience. I left my Xbox off, but still downloading demos of Force Unleashed and The Darkness. This was about 11 or so. Then, I woke up and looked at my console......and it was flashing the red ring of death. I turned the machine off, to cool it down, and after a while, I turned it back on and everything was working fine. I think I still have my warranty active for this, but it was a shock to me.

So, I went and borrowed Gears of War 2 from a friend (traded it in a couple months back because of the horrid multiplayer and wanted to try it again after a XBL friend told me it was better after the last patch), and I have to say the multiplayer still sucks hard. I'm glad I didn't go buy it again.
I did buy back another game last night, though, and it feels great being back in Liberty City again :-).

That's one of the few issues i have. When you unlock the classic wolverine costumes, after they get torn to shreds, they will regenerate with his skin. A minor annoyance.
