Undertaker actually means a lot more (positively) to wrestling than a lot of people may assume.

I'd like to see the Royal Rumble finish. All the heels...I mean ALL the HEELS, beat him down, lock him in a coffin. Jumbotron, shows "taker and he gives the " I will now rest in peace". His eyes close and its over.

He should retire after being defeated in a "Loser Leaves WWE" Farting Contest dark match to Mae Young on ECW.

They could always have him locked in a casket and then led off by a gang of heels. A camera could show The Undertaker inside the casket, and he could give a farewell message before rising into the rafters and out of sight.

near the end of the send off have the lights go dark and when they have gone back on Paul bearer should be kneeling with the urn.

Flair meant almost nothing to the WWE, in reality.
Eveyone got caught up in the emotion of his retirement, and he was well in with the important people at the time.
Undertaker means more to the WWE than any other wrestler, including HBK. When Taker retires, he deserves a send off that puts Ric Flair's to shame.

I've always had somewhat of a corny finish for his career. The aisle is lined with wrestlers, agents and past superstars on each side; Taker comes out in full gimmick; lights; the whole nine, slowly walking past each wrestler who show their gratitude. He then gets into the ring, and everyone in the aisle clap and then give him the Undertaker respect pose on one knee; Taker then returns it to the superstars; lights go out; lightning crackle; they come back on; He's gone. The end.

I'd like to see a bigger send off than Flair but something tells me that when he retires, and wins the belt on that night. The arena will go black and the belt will be lying on the ring after Taker disappears. :-\. I hope not, I'd like to see a Flair-esque send off yeah i think Taker will vanish in some lights going out cloud of smoke and then he's gone thing. then when the DVD for whatever PPV he retires on comes out they'll offer a special "after the cameras stopped rolling" footage showing the locker room saying goodbye bonus feature. OR- my off the top of my head scenario just came up with now. Taker's in the ring after the last match. a host of druids suddenly come out from the back and line up on either side of the ramp bearing torches. Taker slowly starts walking out of the ring and as he reaches them the druids pull off their hoods two by two revealing the "shocking" surprise of a wrestler being under the hood who then bow their heads silently as Taker walks by until at the end you have a shot of the entire lockeroom bearing torches with their heads bowed in respect for the Deadman. ...then Kane jumps him and tombstones him and walks off laughing insanely and goes off to stalk Mickie James who snaps and reverts to psycho mode from the stress. this leads to C.M Punk trying to save her but also because he realizes that it's Kane's mystical control over fire that is responsible for all the heatz he gets in the lockerroom. Punk tries to free mickie from Kane's control because he remembers the mickie from when she hung around with him in the indies and wants her back the way she used to be. or because its a Kane storyline no such explanations are needed and they feud for a bit before Kane realizes that psycho mickie scares even him and turns face to side with Punk against Mickie's latest allies fellow crazies Randy Orton and Edge leading to Punk beating one of the two for the title. um...whose storyline was i talking about again? ;P

I had an idea for a send off, from reading your guys posts.
Undertaker wins one of the top titles (ECW does not count either, so it is a WWE or World title he wins.) Druids come out from the back with their torches. Undertaker places the belt down in front of him, and does his signature pose. The lights go out, and when they come back on, their is a single black rose on the title. The druids lower their hoods to show they are members of the locker room, and stare at the title with a serious expression.
Or something along those lines, maybe...

They'll give him just as big, if not bigger sendoff, probably dedicating all of the Raw after WrestleMania to him. I hope the sendoff is somewhat kayfabe though, it'd probably be cool to see.

who would be the BIG appearances to come to the ring during his goodbye? Paul Bearer obviously. Possibly all the people he's beaten at Wrestlemania that are sill alive. Mankind.
who else?

I would supose they could do some cool storyline with a big in kayfabe finale, followed by a special out of kayfabe send off for Mark Calaway highlighting what he's done both as the Undertaker and behind the scenes. That way everyone gets the best of both worlds. Undertaker and Mr. Calaway are pretty much two seperate entities, what with how extream and theatrical the Undertaker character is. So they could be adressed seperately.

Kane should retire him. After the match, Kane should take off his ring gear, burn it all in a metal trash can, then give him a suit. After that he'll absorb The Undertaker's powers.

No. Giving him a big sendoff would only encourage him to become a hypocrite and fight in high school gyms./Jericho.

As deep in kayfabe as 'Taker tends to keep his character most of the time, you'll never see that kinda send-off on camera. I dunno a vigennette of Biker Taker riding off into the sunset would be cool. Still love the Biker Taker music and wish they would play it one more time. I wouldn't mind seeing BikerTaker one more time, but its not gonn happen. Unfortunately.

The "he wins the title then vanishes" idea that people seem to come up with and think is brilliant would be so lame... Or any variant that involves him just vanishing. Locked in a casket would be even worse ...his last moment ...getting owned by a group of heels?
What kind of send off he'd get depends on how his retirement happens. Not a lot of guys in WWE just decide to stop. Usually it has more to do with a sudden injury or coincides with a contract running out.

Taker has to get a big send off, injury time off aside which there has been a lot of that, he's been the one constant in WWE for what like 2 decades plus?
Even HBK had a few years off.
Not Taker his loyalty to the company and his fans deserves a big send off.
