What do you think?
Judging by crowd reaction I'd be inclined to say so. I know Cena's been pushed to be the top face and all but I'm thinking Jeff might actually be generally more popular.

I dunno... yeah, Cena is top dog but Jeff's been around longer. It's possible more casual fans may remember Jeff more for his antics in TLC etc... Depends if you ask a bunch of eight-year-old boy or a gaggle of teenage girls, really!

Based on reaction, Jeff seems to get a more consistent set of cheers.
Honestly, if I had a choice I'd prefer Cena.

Jeff is more popular. He never gets booed, the crowd erupts for him every time he comes out. Jeff is outpops almost everyone on the roster.

There are people booing Jeff constantly, you don't hear them though because they're not loud enough. Also, on Smackdown, I'm pretty sure they edit the crowd reactions to fit what they want the crowd to react to.

The last couple of PPVs, the crowd appeared to be kind of apathetic towards Jeff.
Almost like his "title reign" killed any momentum he built up.

Cena out popped Jeff on his own show last week.

More people boo Cena at shows but I think he sells more merchandise and tickets than Hardy, so it depends on how you judge popularity.

I wouldn't say "more popular", but it's a very close race.
I think Cena's still got the lead, though.

Hmmmm. I would say there are more people cheering for Jeff at some live shows, (it's not "cool" to hate Jeff) but Cena is the bigger draw on the whole.
And I tell you what, I know who I'd rather have as a main eventer - Cena hands down. Yeah, Jeff is the better wrestler, but that's not everything, especially in WWE. At least Cena has the skills to make you actually care about what he's doing and why he's doing it.
Hardy vs Hardy could have been THE event at Wrestlemania, but due to both brothers out and out suckage on the mic, it's almost at an embarrassing "hey, remember this" level.
