While I don't necessarily agree with the thread title at all, I can't argue the love for this song. One of my favorites.

It's not bad but I never got the extremely high praise for the song. It just drags on and on and on.

It's cool, I don't really get what the big deal about The Beatles is anyhow.
Yeah, they were influential, yeah they did a lot of good for the musical industry, okay whatever.
I respect them, but I don't dig their music.

A great song, but there's still alot of songs the Beatles did that are better than this

I don't like the Beatles.
I like House of the Rising Sun.
So I agree.

I agree that the song is great, but I don't think that it's better than The Beatles at their best.

Yeah, I mean, I get what the Beatles did for music and all...but I can only name maybe 3 out of the seemingly hundreds of songs that I kind of sort of like.
So The Animals to me are WAY better.

Eh, the Animals have better songs than this, like It's my Life and We've Gotta Get Out of this Place. It's all opinion, so you can say what you prefer and that's cool. As for the Beatles, great chunks of the White album are better than this, IMO, as are songs like Come Together, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and A Day in the Life of.
I even like Lead Belly's version better.

I came in here expecting Party All The Time and I didn't get it. Who do I complain to for false advertising?

I would say this song is on par with the best stuff The Beetles ever did, but the thing is that The Beetles wrote, composed, and preformed at least 20 songs that are on par with this one. The only person who is on par with The Beetles when it comes to the sheer number of awesome songs produced is Bob Dylan. If you ask me Dylan is the greatest song writer of all time followed closely by both John, Paul, the Velvet Underground, and Brian Wilson.

You can't make a title like this, well you did, but now you're gonna get Beatles fans in here, and it's taking away from the point of posting an Animals song.....
It's a good song, but of course this is all up for debate as far as matching it up with the Beatles

Well I'd hope people wouldn't take the title as being fact. ;D

I dig the song, but it doesn't even come close to touching The Beatles' material to me.
But seriously though, great song. The Animals were awesome.

If anyone gets the chance, look up "Good Times" by The Animals. It's another great song.

I'll agree fully with the title. I've never dug the Beatles. They didn't even manage to do good Chuck Berry covers.
