sure we like comic/ movies/ games but sometimes fans go too far in their zeal for these media. what are the times people went to far in comic related stuff
deaths - i read in wizard that when certain characters such as gwen stacy died the crators received death threats from irate fans. honestly, youre gonna threaten a real person and risk jail time because they killed off a fake character?
Protests- when Hal Jordan killed off the GLC and then died and was replaced by Kyle Rayner. People actually formed an online community to protest and petition to return the status quo come on i know youre angry, but honestly if you'd be willing to do all of that over a comic story. Why not use the same effort to form a community to fight real life porblem that affect real people- poverty, child abuse etc
Guys who learn Klingon . Why no learn an actualy language like spanish, so u can speak with a whole set of other people

Irish Soccer fans spring to mind. One side is Protestants, the others are Catholics, and neither think twice about throwing a rock at the other's skull. And it all revolves around a game where you spend a majority of the time kicking a ball around.

What may be logical to you isn't to others. And yes, death threats are stupid as hell to make, but some people value life more than others.
As for Klingon, if someone chooses to learn an additional language, deems it useful, and enjoys it, who are we to judge? It may not be as productive as Spanish, for instance, but whatever floats your boat and doesn't rock someone elses...

I remember that after Metal Gear Solid 3, Hideo Kojima got a mountain of death threats to come back and make Metal Gear Solid 4, cause Kojima said MGS3 was the last one he had a direct hands on approach to.

people on a message board complaining about other people not doing things when we could be doing things? Wait...what? why spend time online talking on WRESTLECRAP and judging people who got mad at DC when there's a lot of better choices you can be making with your life? I LIKE doing this, but surely there's soemthing somewhere somehow better that I can be trying to accomplish then raising a post count. It reminds me of the guy who told em all racists need to be shot, because he hated them and what they beleived, blissfully unaware thats the same attitude of the people he wanted dead.

Hooliganism in the UK is more or less dead, check out Eastern Europe and South America for the real soccer violence. Can't recommend the Real Football Factories enough.

I once saw a guy slap a comic book because he didn't like it. Yep, he gave it a spanking. I think it was a Wolverine book.
I hate when someone will only read one line of comics and not even try anything else - or someone who only reads superhero stuff.
There was a guy at my school who was a World of Warcraft fan and he did nothing but go home and play it all day and all night. He never did any work in school, and failed right out of school. All he talked about was WOW and some Wizard this, points that, dragon this...
Star Trek fans can be horrendous to deal with sometimes, and some SW fans too.
The people who do Star Wars fan-fiction porn need help.
